Favorite Mexican place in DFW, everything we’ve had we’ve enjoyed. Once we were charged too much in a take out order and we called the next day, they not only corrected the mistake but insisted on making us dinner again that night on them. The service is outstanding!

Came here for Mambo Taxi’s and that drink is definitely a creeper! Tequila and wine will get you at the end! Tasty though, sweet with a little kick. Tropical fruit mojito was delicious as well. I would of enjoyed it more but lots of fruit pieces and mint sleeves going through my straw. I ordered the ceviche as my meal, not the normal traditional ceviche either, what made it different was the mango. The mango gave it a nice not too heavy tropical taste. My bf order that pick 4 for like almost $ 13. I know he got the guacamole chalupa. Which was basically guacamole on a giant round tortilla chip, with a little salad mix on the side. Pork enchiladas, chicken enchilada, and a beef taco. He enjoyed it all.

Food is ok, This is the third time I came to Mi Cocina, and I still don’t like their food, everything is extremely spicy, not hot spicy, but everything has cumin, and a lot of spices. The enchiladas were cold, the 3 stars are because the Margaritas are good and big and they have very good service!

Delicious tacos, good margarita’s. Only thing I didn’t love was their salsa put out with the chips prior to dinner. Tasted kind of more like tomato sauce. Other than that great food! Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating! Would recommend!

This mi Cocina is a good location and always clean. Servers are always nice and welcoming. During the weekends it could be a little bit of wait but worth it, brisket tacos and the flan here are a must …

Met a friend for lunch and I felt so indecisive. Please note… the menu has JUST been updated. I randomly felt like breakfast and asked our server Juan Carlos if there was anything like that. He named 3 «off menu» brunch items of which I selected one. It was PERFECT. No complaints at all on her dish or mine, clearly. Juan Carlos was helpful, courteous, and attentive. Great dining experience.

I’ve eaten here multiple times and have only had the brisket tacos. They are really delicious! Everything about the entrée is great. Delicious rice and I love the salad topped with avocados! The dressing and avocados are really good together. Salsa is spicy and the lemonade is a must have! My favorite place for brisket tacos by a long shot. I really do like this place a lot! It is a little over priced but for a now and then treat, I don’t mind spending a few extra dollars for something I know is going to be really good. Minus a star because the service is often pretty slow.

Freshly made Mexican food with several good non-meat options. Staff is extremely friendly and always willing to accommodate special dietary requests. The craft cocktails are inventive and delicious. We go several times per month and have yet to have a less than 5 star experience.

What makes this place different than its other locations are its people. If your lucky enough to get Oscar as your waiter you won’t want for anything. He’s got a great personality and worth waiting for his table. GiGi at the bar makes the best drinks around and with her friendly and beautiful smile it just makes the evening perfect

This will become our favorite Mexican restaurant. Great food, awesome service, clean. The vegetarian got the cheese enchiladas which she hovered. The hubby got chimichangas, kid got chicken taquitos and I got the fajitas. We way enjoyed it.

The sunset fajitas were awesome, atmosphere was nice and wait staff was very friendly and on point. Would recommend this restaurant and plan on eating here again. With that said be ready to pay more than you are regularly accustomed to for Mexican food in this area. But well worth it in my opinion.

Decent Mexican restaurant. Food was good. Nice atmosphere. Chips and salsa are sub par. Chips have a burnt flavor. We will be coming back!

I come here for lunch all the time and it’s always wonderful. I have tried to bring my husband for the 3rd time now and it has been awful at night all 3 times I have brought him here they have done a terrible we will not be returning for dinner. Mole is almost all cinnamon enchilada were crunchy and chicken was raw in the center. Our waiter was a real smart ass along with the manager rolling his eyes and not doing anything about our issues except giving attitude. Lunch is always great but I will not return for dinner not do I think I’ll even come back to this location for lunch.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon with my family. There was no one to meet us but they came shortly after we walked in the door. The menu was good and everyone enjoyed their food. We have brisket tacos and brisket quesadillas. The service was really good and attentive. This was consistent with the other location I have been to in Fort Worth. It is a good restaurant, we will go back.

A tex mex staple that isn’t that special but has solid food. I was disappointed in their posole and would not order again. Their brisket tacos are always a winner and the plate is very generous. If you want a solid meal that you know will be good then Mi Cocina is a good choice for you.

Looking for some good Tex Mex on my travels in the Dallas area. I am a New Englander, so no real frame of reference! Mi Cocina was highly recommended, and i enjoyed it very much. Started with chips, salsa and really good guac, then i had a fish dish.

This was our first time eating at Mi Cocina and I am a fan for sure! The service was stellar… from the moment we walked in and were greeted all the way through the conclusion of our meals. I was very impressed with the enchiladas. It is obvious they dip the tortillas in sauce before assembling which is very rare to find these days. The flavors were great. I ordered the Sunset enchiladas and the Sunset sauce is fantastic. Everything eaten at our table was great including the blanco queso we had as a starter. We ate on the patio and it was great… very relaxing and the chairs were very comfortable for patio seating. Unlike some places where service tends to be slow on the patio, we had amazing service and drinks refilled before we were finished. just the way it should be. I am so happy this is so close to our home now… this will definitely become a regular place for us. Hope our next visit can match this one! I am looking forward to trying a margarita next time!

Nice ambiance yet casual setting for some solid Tex-Mex fare. My experience here was part of a large group dinner, using their semi-private dining area. Stars are always given when a small group of servers can handle a group of 50 people without messing up orders, refilling drinks, and delivering entrees in a timely fashion to all diners. The staff at Mi Cocina did just that, and we were pleased. Our group had a small fixed-priced custom menu, that consisted of 3 drinks per person(woot!), guacamole for every two to four people(plenty), and the choice of one of four entrée choices. I was really happy with the drink menu. In addition to the typical house margarita, Mi Cocina has some very creative adult beverages, and our server was helpful in pointing us in the right direction based on our preferences for tequila, rum, etc. The Mambo Taxi is one of their signature beverages — I found it sticky sweet, but it was also very strong! The chips tasted fresh and weren’t over-salted, and the salsa was good, but was much milder than I prefer, so it definitely won’t offend those averse to spice. The guacamole was well-blended and the avocados tasted very ripe. Our entrée choices ranged from a combo of three a la carte items, to enchiladas, to fish tacos, to a vegetarian burrito dish. I ordered the fish tacos, and really enjoyed the fact that the fish was grilled, and that the creamy sauce was served on the side, so that I could control how much I added. The corn tortillas weren’t double-wrapped, unfortunately, so the tacos kind of fell apart, but that didn’t stop them from being pretty tasty. I’m willing to wager that Mi Cocina is one of the best choices in this shopping center, and definitely a good choice when you need to please a wide spectrum of palates and preferences, from those who adore Mexican food to those who really don’t care for the flavors from our amigos south of the border.
