The online check-​in option gives you the illusion of control but in reality it is nothing more than government as usual. We arrived with a 19 minute wait time. As we watched the monitor our wait time would decrease only to increase. One hour later our wait time is 16 minutes! How is it possible that we only moved forward by 3 minutes in one hour. At this rate, 3 minutes per hour, we won’t actually be seen for another 5 hours! On a positive note, the facility is clean and has ample seating. But be prepared to spend most of your day waiting — regardless of the texted time confirmation.

Signed up for the online place in line system. It sent me texts to alert me when I needed to come in. Great idea when it actually works. I drove 30 min to the office when I got a text telling me I had a few people ahead of me. Once I got there they told me their system was down and they couldn’t help me. I explained that I specifically signed up online for my daughter to take her written test and I received periodic updates all day. When I complained about the system letting me join the online que they told me it was two different systems and they don’t communicate with each other. That’s a bunch of crap. Why even have a system like that if it can’t work properly.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had renewing my driver’s license. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. The online check in limited my wait time. I could have almost walked right in and been called back if I hadn’t asked for more time in response to the text that I had 18 min left. The young lady that helped me was pleasant and even asked if my picture was ok. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing in-​person DPS service. Great service!

Great experience. Had to wait over an hour to renew my drivers license but I was able to go home and stay updated when my turn was next through the mobile text service.

This DMV has it together! There are closer DMVs to me to be I prefer the drive and experience here.
You simply check in online with your phone number and «wait in line» on your way there. The system sends you updates on your wait time and you can add more time via text if needed! The people are friendly and the place is clean! All you ever wanted in a DMV!

I had a horrible experience at this DPS today. The lady that gave my son his drivers test was rude and unintelligent. She should not be employed there because of her severe lack of knowledge of driving skills and the rules of the road that is taught in local driving schools. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DRIVERS TEST HERE!!! I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR DRIVERS TEST HERE!!! Worst experience in a public service building ever.
