Super cheap, great quality fried chicken. There are a bunch of these in town, they are always in what my Hispanic friends call the Mexican ghetto. But where else can you get chicken that is breaded and fried in front of you for less than any chain store. We got the 24 tenders dinner with rolls, gravy, and 2 big sides for $ 20. Holy crap… huge amount of food for $ 20. Only downer I see is the locations are usually gas stations but… get over it. Its great food.

I don’t know my way around Fort Worth unless I’m at Sundance Square or in the Lake Worth area. So basically, I don’t know my way around the city. I found myself lost, hungry and in need of fuel. I saw a sign for cheap gas and when I pulled up I was met by 2 surprises. The first was that I couldn’t swipe my card at the pump and get my cheap gas, I had to walk inside and actually PREPAY at the register. This place refuses to be indoctrinated by the super convenient pay at the pump option that I think EVERYOTHERGASSTATION does. My second surprise waited inside. It’s a convenience store/chicken restaurant. I ordered their special that came with fried catfish, 2 chicken tenders, 2 sides, a roll, and a drink. I tried the mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans for my 2 sides. All for $ 5.49. The sides were not spectacular but the fish was seasoned and the chicken tenders were pretty good. The menu is huge there. I hope I don’t find myself in the area again, but if I do and I have an appetite, I know where to go.

I love this place! I’ve never had anything bad from here. They are busy but it’s just because how good they are!
