Landmark Bar & Kitchen

One of my favorite bars off 7^th! Free skeeball and arcade games, plus a mechanical bull which is extremely entertaining around 1 am! Love their drink specials (frozen jack and coke) and the food is not your typical bar fare. Build your own Mac and Cheese is my favorite. Gets hopping around 10ish, especially on the patio so get early if you want a seat.

I really enjoyed the bar and the atmosphere, but the service was terrible and the «waitress» who so called herself waiting on my friends and I, ended up spoiling our night with her attitude.
We ordered our first round from a really nice gentleman at the bar, and he provided excellent service.
When we decided to order our second round the line was a bit long and I spotted the waitress that had offered to take our order a little earlier while we were still waiting on people.
Well when we went to order the exact same thing we ordered the first time our bill was significantly higher. When we asked her how the price changed in a matter of 30 minutes she told us «You didn’t specify you wanted the house special so I gave you the more expensive one. Your drinks are already made and your card was already swiped, there’s nothing you can do.»
I would totally understand her snappy response had we been rude and obnoxious but one of my friends and I came to her as fellow bartenders/​servers trying to understand the discrepancy. By the end of the exchange it wasn’t even about the money anymore. Her logic was terrible.
If you want good service from this place I suggest you stay clear of the 4’11 brunette with the piercings, because what ever your order she’s going to make sure to give you the most expensive thing she can.

Let me first start off by saying that we planned on coming to this place to watch TCU play OU. We had never been here before but it was advertised on Twitter as the place for the «Official TCU Watch Party.» So my husband and I thought it might be cool to try out a new place with other TCU fans. Their website showed free games and even suggested that you could bring a dog if you wanted to sit on a patio. It sounded like it would be a blast.
It should be noted that we called ahead and paid $ 10 to reserve a table as we assumed it would be crowded for the game. Also, when you call them, you are not calling the bar itself, but rather calling a call center who are in charge of answering questions. (Not that it matters to me nor does it have anything to do with my rating of this place).
Upon arrival, we found that we were the only people there for this «official watch party.» Kind of lame, but oh well. We thought we might as well stick it out and give it a shot.
We tried to play some games, but half of them were broken. My husband and I went to play a shooting game but one of the guns was missing a trigger so we moved on to another 2-​player game but the joystick was broken on that one. So we settled for watching each other play Pac Man.
We had a nice waitress who was very attentive to us for the first 10 minutes that we were there. She suggested a bucket of 5 beers for $ 10 that they had on special and we ended up getting it. We then decided to order an appetizer. We got their loaded cheese fries which ended up being some sort of frozen (or microwave, not sure) fries piled on one side with green onions and piled on the other side with jalapenos. The cheese was shredded but was hardly melted at all.
We did not see our waitress for a very long time. We both had to take turns going up to the bar and ordering drinks. We even flagged down our waitress at one point (just in case she forgot she had our table) and ordered a drink. Upon doing so, she seemed very annoyed that we had interrupted whatever she was doing. She brought us our drinks, but (despite our subtle reminder) we would never see her again. We were there about 4 hours watching the entire TCU game and she served us a total of 3 times. All we had to eat was the poor excuse of an appetizer because we could never get anyone to serve us without us walking all the way across the bar.
After unnecessarily paying $ 10 to reserve a table for a big game, we thought we might at least get some decent service, but we got the complete opposite. So, feeling bitter, we did not tip. And that’s not usually who we are. We are very good tippers and understand that’s how wait staff typically makes their wages, but no. We chose not to tip because we basically waited on ourselves, and the service is the main reason we will not go back. Upon cashing out and walking back to my table (because I had to walk from my table across the bar to pay my tab as well), some lady I had never seen before chased me down and asked me why I didn’t tip. Are you kidding me?
This place had potential, but it needs a lot of work.

Maybe it’s my late 20s starting to show, but I don’t understand the hype with this place. If you’re looking for an overly crowded bar douchey enough to remind you of Dallas on a Saturday night, you’ve found yourself right at home here. If you have friends smart enough to think West 7^th is a great place to go after a TCU home game, you’ll even get to wait in line to get in! Apparently this place has fun games on the patio and a mechanical bull, but I had no idea because it was so crowded.
Aside from the douchey-​ness, I’d like to take a few minutes to address the bathroom situation. I realize that bathrooms notoriously suck in bars, but this was a nightmare. After waiting in the ridiculously long line, you get to the front to find that there are only THREE stalls. No, I take that back, there are only two stalls because one is «out of order» due someone’s inability to evacuate their bowels accurately into the toilet. But because women were waiting so long in line, some of them actually said, «screw it» and used that stall anyway! Others were contemplating peeing in the sink. That’s unacceptable. And it wasn’t that much better for the guys either because it looked like even they had a long line. Just adding some port-​a-​potties outside on the weekend nights would be a significant improvement!
I don’t know how I used to go to bars like this all the time in my early 20s, but my time here was a good reminder of why I don’t.

Got the mile high nachos and the street tacos.
The cheese was generic and the chips were bagged but not much to complain about from a bar.
The street tacos without cabbage were bare but the salsa had decent flavor.
Heather was a decent waitress for lunch but it appears to be a better bar than kitchen

This place is great. Fun and casual atmosphere. The owner came and introduced himself to us made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to see this place for some college football.

Typical maybe college bar maybe cougar bar. But there are free games!!!
Chips and queso was bagged and premade but they were presented nicely and didn’t taste too bad. I had an excellent burger and so did my partner. It was fun to play ski ball and all of the game. I can imagine it’s pretty rowdy on some nice full of college students however we were there at the beginning of the school year.
When I go back for parents weekend I will be riding the mechanical bull!

One of the worst places I’ve been for a beer. Beer wasn’t very cold, flies all over the place! Spent most of the time swatting them. Wasn’t acknowledged when we walked in, service was slow. Just not a great experience but the music was good!

Came here for sister’s 21^st bday on a recommendation. Chili’s would have been a better option. Food WAY over priced, served in football stadium paper bowls. Ordered a trash can punch in a fish bowl. Only 32 oz. I don’t want to sit here and rag on this place because I don’t care to take the time. Won’t come back. Although ALL the employees were delightful. ONe star for effort!

Wow this place is crowded looks like a decent bar to go to not on a Saturday. Horrible beer selection probably because I couldn’t get to the bar I had to get a beer from the makeshift bottle stand bar. I would have gave them two stars if it wasn’t for the mechanical bull free to ride (just tip) the guy he was really cool. This was kind of a bias review because I’ve only been on a busy Saturday I would have to check it out again on a normal business day.

I visited on a Saturday night, and daing! This place is crowded like no other! Both the inside and patio; we purchased our drinks from a lady with a cooler by the entrance, I can not even imagine ordering from the bar!
They have a mechanical bull! Lol, that’s the reason why we came here, it’s even free (plus a tip). I’ve actually never seen a mechanical bull before so it was pretty fun, not that I tried it but some of the people I was with did. Made my whole night.
The restroom really bothered me though, they have a lady handing you soap and paper towels. You feel obligated to tip, but first of all I just want to pee and wash my hands I don’t need assistance, second this place isn’t fancy at all to have this shenanigans in the restroom, lastly who the hell carries cash anymore?! I saw a lady tipping her with a shot, apparently that works too. Now I know.
I guess that kinda sums up this place, overly crowded, loud hip hop music, TCU kids and a mechanical bull on a Saturday night. That’s really all you can expect.

Not a bad after party place. They had karaōke with a Dj. My issues was that it was impossible to get a server to help us order food, we finally had to go to the bar to order our food, the roof had a leak and was dripping water. All in all not horrible but not my favorite bar in fort Worth

First time here on Friday night to celebrate my graduation and it was GREEEATTTTT! I had such a fun time. Maybe too much fun??? lol. My friend’s who do attend TCU say Landmark can get pretty crowded so we headed out a little early to get a spot to chill out on the patio. The bartenders were quick and hospitable, which made ordering drinks a whole lot easier. I like the fact that they have a parking lot so you don’t have to walk far.

First of all, landmark is the place on nights you and your crew are having a good time. Service is always on the spot while waiting for a drink especially fast when there is a capacity crowd. Bartenders and staff always are willing to help and make your night better.
Cleanliness is always at a peak. Bathrooms and kitchen included. Can’t go wrong with this place. Been open for 8 months and the Fort Worth area knows it’s a favorite. Landmark is the del friscos steak house of 7^th street bars

Hands down this is the worst run bar I have seen not only in Fort Worth but anywhere.
The staff is consistently rude and the service is terrible.
It was so shockingly bad that I spoke to the self proclaimed owner «Noël» and informed him of it. Not only did this not change anything, I was called a «nigger» the next time I went there by a member of the bar staff. Real classy guys!
If it wasn’t just another crappy bar at the end of its extremely short life span I might actually have cared to do something about it. Seeing as there are TONS of better bars, clubs and restaurants in the area that actually value their customers, my friends and I will just take our business there and I strongly advise anyone reading this to do the same.

OMG this place was a sh*t show. I wondered where the usual college crowd from Reservoir and Capital Bar had flocked to and now I’ve found it. Good luck fighting your way to the bar. You’re better off hitting up one of the beer trough girls. Several people throughout the night were being arrested in the parking lot. They do have giant jenga– but in comparison to Brahcadia the jenga is not so giant. There was a strange smattering of cougars on the porch area acting a fool. Maybe it was TCU Moms weekend. Who knows. It’s good for 25 and under.

This place won me over before I even stepped inside. They have an actual parking lot with a decent amount of spaces, can you believe it?! It’s always so hard to find bars that have their own parking, much less enough that makes it no issue for me to park. It’s no walmart (thank goodness!) but even if you can’t find parking in the private lot there’s plenty of street parking nearby and a garage. Not sure if anyone is excited as I am about this but trust me people — great parking IS a big deal.
Now that the important thing is out of the way… The bar itself is a great place to be. There’s a very large patio area for people to mingle with games, seating and a warming fire (Texas winter is coming up!). Inside the bartenders make great drinks and the waitresses attend to guests very nicely. You know that feeling where you have to hunt down your server for a drink? Well you won’t have that issue here. They also have a few games inside and the bar runs almost the length of the building.
I think the upstairs is still under construction but it looks like there will be more seating upstairs and potentially two private party rooms. I’m completely speculating at this point but it would be so nice to have a separate private area for guests to reserve. I constantly find it hard to make party arrangements for private events and I’m just hoping this is what they’ll do with the upstairs space.

Just opened in June 2014 Brand new to the list of places to go out at night in the area. Went out in a Thursday night and the crowd was showing up at 10pm, too bad I had to work the next day.
Defiantly check it out! Perfect mix of indoor/​outdoor seating. They have oversized games that easily entertained me and my friends.
Happy hour from 3−7pm. Defiantly take the time to check it out and if it’s not your thing your in walking distance to 2 other places. They have limited parking (20 spots) out front but there is street parking.
