David C. Hecht, CPA began his public practice of accounting in his hometown of Fort Worth in the 1980’s. The specialty of the practice has always been small business and the individuals that run them. Industries served include ranching, manufacturing, wholesale & retail trade, aviation, oil & gas, construction and related industries.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BBA), David Hecht has been licensed to practice public accounting in Texas since 1982. He earned the coveted Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the AICPA in 1998, and received his Masters degree (MBA) from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in December 2003. David was recognized as a «University Scholar» by UTA and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society. In 2008, David earned a Certificate in Financial Forensics (CFF) from the AICPA.

David’s experience encompasses financial reporting and taxation, litigation consulting & support and financial planning for individuals and businesses. He has performed extensive work in the area of business valuations for marital dissolution, corporate status and alter ego matters, breach of contract, estate and gift tax considerations and buy-​sell agreements.

He is a member of the AICPA & TSCPA, where he has been an instructor for valuation engagements.
