History

Established in 2011.

After leaving the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office after over 5 years of experience as a felony and misdemeanor prosecutor, I opened up The Hampton Law Firm, P.L.L.C. in Fort Worth, TX. Because of the nearly 100 criminal jury trials that I had been involved with as a prosecutor with the district attorney’s office, I chose to specialize in criminal law with a focus on DWI and misdemeanor/​felony trial defense.

As a former prosecutor with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, I have held the following positions:

Felony Prosecutor (CDC4, CDC1)

Misdemeanor Prosecutor (CCC9, CCC1, CCC3)

Grand Jury Prosecutor

Special Prosecutor (Johnson County)

During my tenure at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, I had the opportunity to litigate a number of criminal jury trials for cases ranging from driving while intoxicated to murder. In the area of DWI litigation, I have tried cases ranging from breath and blood test refusal cases to test cases and drug DWI cases. I have also presented hundreds of cases to the grand jury and have litigated numerous cases before a judge.
