AMAZINGSERVICE. I live in San Francisco, but am from Forth Worth. I take my Tag Heuer there for service when I am in town. Supora always remembers me by name even thought I have not lived there for 27 years. They never charge me to replace the battery. A few days ago, I took it there because a pin fell out of the bracelet on the watch. Supora had it fixed while I waited and again, did not charge me. I cannot recommend this jeweler enough. They have an amazing selection of watches: Rolex, Brietling, Tag, etc.

Being born and raised in Ft. Worth, Haltom’s Jewelers and the Haltom family were a big part of Ft. Worth. Even though the jewelry store is no longer owned or associated with the Haltom family, they’re still carrying on the long-standing tradition of excellence. Around a year ago, I had one of my favorite New Mexico turquoise rings«re-shanked». The original shank on the ring was very thin and, me being a big guy, broke it. Haltom’s jeweler. He did a beautiful job«building up» the shank to a thickness that would be more becoming to me. Well fast forward to around a month ago, somehow the shank had come loose at the«weld», I took it back to Haltom’s for repair. Imagine my surprise when I was called to let me know the ring was ready and there was no charge to repair it. In my opinion that’s the way retail businesses gain«customers for life». Thank you Haltom’s for carrying on the incredible legacy of the Haltom family.

Avoid at all costs. Seriously. Run. Their staff doesn’t know what is happening in that store, their prices are outrages, the timeframe is ridiculous, and in three visits I haven’t felt that the staff cares about me at all. Attention to detail is so ridiculous that my name was spelled correctly on one of my receipts but not the other. This should have been a red flag from day one. I went to Haltom’s Jewelers because I live across the street and it was convenient. I wish I had read the reviews first. I am getting married in three weeks and needed my engagement ring taken down ¼ of a size and three pearl bracelets made just a bit smaller. I was told it would take two weeks, the bracelets would be sent to California, and my engagement ring containing my fiancé’s dead grandmother’s diamonds would be sized in house. The bracelets were to cost $ 3 an inch and the sizing would cost $ 80! With a move and wedding coming up, I didn’t have time to shop around so I left my jewelry. On day 14, when my jewelry should have been done and I still had not received a call, I popped in to the store and learned my bracelets were nowhere to be found and not only was my ring not finished but ITHADBEENSHIPPEDOUT. THEYALLOWEDMYFIANCE’S DEADGRANDMOTHER’S DIAMONDSTOLEAVETHESTOREWITHOUTTELLINGME after we had specifically asked if sizing was done in store. I dealt with the same woman this time who told me she didn’t know it would be sent out. She got on the phone to find it was sized and needed to be polished and should be here«early next week». This was Friday Now it’s Wednesday, nineteen days after dropping off my two week projects, and the store still can not account for the progress on my bracelets and my ring is still not in store. It was finished but their courier didn’t bother to pick it up yesterday. Now I wait for a phone call from a gentleman at the store who is trying to find somebody to pick up my ring and whoever has my pearls in Florida(though I was told they were going to California) to call him back. I wish I could say I was waiting for a manager to call me back, but they don’t have one in store for a few days.

I had 4 pieces of jewelry I wanted appraised, one of the rings needed to be resized and one of the rings needed to be repaired. I went to Haltom’s on Camp Bowie because that’s where I got a ring I still wear after 45 years. It’s an old established business, I like that, I appreciate the work it took to get to that level. After 3 weeks I got my items back, the ring fit, I glanced at the very nicely bound 6 page appraisal, paid them 355 or so dollars and went on my way. I got home and looked at everything closer and noticed the ring that was to be repaired was not repaired. The ring that was resized was no longer round but oblong and the appraisal was basically a regurgitation of what I had told them. 50 dollars for someone to smack my ring with a leather mallet and call it resized! It pains me, it really pains me to say it, but I will never go to Haltom’s again. I take that back, I’m gonna go tell the highest manager I can find to his face about my rings, then not go back. I gave em one star because the stupid appraisal looks very nice. BTW, I’m now paying another jeweler 35 dollars to actually resize my ring correctly, and 45 to fix the other one.
