Sandwiches are my favorite food right after fajitas(and cupcakes…). Lucky for me I had a Groupon and I was able to try out 3 different items from this location. A turkey sandwich, a blackened chicken salad, and a deluxe sandwich. I’ll say that the bread is great, it seems homemade and fresh. The salad was very attractive looking, warm chicken with melted cheese over a bed of greens. However, I have to take away 1 star because all their meats tasted the same, the turkey, the ham, the chicken, I couldn’t tell the difference and it had a greasy taste. They were very friendly though, but I’ll have to stick with what I know when it comes to my fave foods.

Tried this for the first time today. Ordered a 7″ cheese steak and an order of fries with a side of ranch, to-go. Really good prices on the food, great portion sizes. They did cut the sub in half, and I could only eat half of it… they do not skimp on the meat and fillings. Location is easy to find, but parking will be a bitch. The sandwich itself was pretty tasty. The meat could’ve used some seasoning, but other then that it was pretty good. Love the toppings they include on the sub as well. And the bread was soft and delicious. The fries weren’t that good… I wouldn’t order them again. Good thing I got some ranch with them because they had no flavor at all. No salt or anything on them. I think if they seasoned them a bit, they would be really good though. Since it’s pretty close to where I work, I will most likely make another lunch time trip at some point. But I will try the onion rings if I want a side next time.

Cool, dive-y place tucked away in Fort Worth. Been here a couple times and remember being satisfied both times. Think I’ve tried the Marinated Chicken Breast Sandwich and Italian Cold Cut and remember both having tasty, fresh ingredients.

I don’t frequent here that often, however the times that I have I have always been pleased. The portions are large enough to feel full, but not so large that you’re miserable. It’s not my favorite sub shop, but it’s tasty and worth a try.

Why are there no reviews yet? I had never eaten here before. Supposedly there is a location in Bedford too. But this place was really neat. We walked in and kind of gazed at the menu when the woman behind the counter(I suppose the manager/owner) greeted us warmly. She could tell we had never been there before and gave us a good run down on the sub shop and what they had to offer. My girlfriend and I decided to split the peperoni and provolone sub, and my other friend got the pastrami sandwich. All of the sandwiches come with lettuce and this relish that contains peppers, pickles, onions, and all sorts of things that make the sandwich rich, bold, and spicy(I don’t really remember everything that was in it, I had been drinking and I was hungry, haha). They told us the bread they get is shipped in from Boston. It was an awesome sandwich roll: soft, flavorful, and a chewy crust. My friend also praised how nice and tender the pastrami was. We also ordered a large basket of tater tots to split at the table. They were fried perfectly: super crunchy on the outside and silky smooth in the center, and not too greasy. Overall, Galligaskins was a very positive experience. I would give them 5, but it is still just a sub shop. But they keep it simple, prepare things correctly, and are very hospitable. If you are out in Fort Worth and feeling like a sandwich, you should check this place out.
