We had an appointment with the Dr here as an initial appointment. We drove three hours to get here from west Tx to be here for a 12:00 appt. I’ve been sitting here for two hours and still no Dr. We will obviously NOT be having a second appointment with a Dr that has NORESPECT for someone else’s time. Two hours and twenty minutes later the Dr comes in and tries to crack some jokes.

After I checked in the receptionist called me back and said that the MRI disk I presented was not mine even though it had my name and birthdate on it. I asked them to please check again because the Dr. who referred me went over the images with me earlier. They said no, it was not my information. The receptionist said I would have to have my disk. After some discussion I was told I could go to another facility a few miles away and pick up my MRI. I drove to the other facility and picked up my MRI. When we finally were called in to the doctor’s office the nurse handed me the disk I had picked up and said they had my information in their system all along and they didn’t need the disk I had picked up!!! The examination by the doctor was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a specialist!!!

I’m sure sorry for Mara’s experience. However my experience here has been nothing less than phenomenal!!! Dr. Anthony Lee was my surgeon and he is a great doctor and very personable. His staff is so incredible. I love this place, every time I’ve called I’ve spoked with the sweetest people. They’ve always apologized about my pain, as if they were responsible, and I usually get called ‘hun’ or ‘sweetie’, which I adore, especially when I’m in pain. To say I’m not an easy patient, is an under statement. I had been miserable beyond belief for over 3 weeks. I was trying so hard to get into Dr. Lee and I had some assistance from my very determined niece. The first sweet female voice called me at 145 and said she understood I lived a good distance away, but they had a cancelation and if I could get there at 230, they could get me in to see the doctor!!! Off to the new, expensive tollway I went. Dr. Lee explained all my options and at that point I just wanted the pain to stop. Surgery was the only real option and he said he would be able to do it 2 days later! Then steps in super, fantastic Rusti, his scheduler. She was so great and even called Baylor to make sure I could get in for pre-op right away, which I did. I can’t think of his nurses’ name at this moment, I’m terrible with names, but she is wonderful as well. I could not be happier or more thankful to the staff here!!!

If it wasn’t for Unilocal requiring at least«one star» this facility would get ZERO. Their staff is RUDE, Karen, Dr. Ellis’ nurse has a serious attitude and shouldn’t be dealing with patients at all. I moved to Texas from another state and this office REFUSED to so much as schedule an appointment without a «doctor to doctor referral» or your«complete medical record». They had my complete medical record for 3 weeks before I got a phone call saying«oh we need more time to decide if we are even going to accept you as a patient». At that time I spoke with the office manager who assured me he would find out what was taking so long and get back to me that Monday. Did anyone call? Nope. That Wednesday the nasty nurse calls back and says«oh I’m sorry we’ve decided we don’t want to see you as a patient». So after being jerked around for a month«they decided they didn’t want to take me on as a patient». I guess business is so good they can pick and choose their patients and don’t care about anyone’s time. I would say stay FAR away from this facility because we all know going to the doctor isn’t fun and can be stressful, these people just make it 10X worse and don’t deserve to be in business!!!
