Creation Day Spa

I bought the same groupon thinking I was going to an actual spa so I was pretty disappointed when I drove up and saw that it was in a residential neighborhood. I decided to go on in for my appt. The room was right off the entry way with no door/​curtain closing the room off. So you had to get undressed in a wide open room which was very weird. Neither of the people had on shoes which I thought was a little unprofessional and the carpet was stained and very tattered looking. They were friendly though. The massage itself was alright. I don’t think I ever fully relaxed because I was so paranoid about this place being sketchy and just felt uncomfortable the whole time. Also I laid on my stomach for the full 90 min which got to be uncomfortable after awhile. I was waiting to be told to flip over but it never happened. When I was leaving he asked me if I would like to leave a tip!?! I already had but thought it was rude of him to ask and almost made me wish I hadn’t.
To say the least, I won’t be going back and I’m glad I did not pay full price because it wasn’t even worth the groupon price.

Okay, I purchased a Groupon a couple of weeks ago for a massage at the Creation Day Spa. When I called and scheduled the appointment, I was told that the spa was inside of a fitness center/​gym. About a week before my appointment, I received an email stating that the business had moved, and gave a new address. This would have been fine, EXCEPT when I arrived for my appointment this morning, the new location turned out to be a house in a residential neighborhood. The lawn was unkempt and there were weeds everywhere, the curtains looked dirty, and there was no sign that this was a day spa except for an 8X10 flyer taped to the front window.
As you know, getting a massage involves taking off all your clothes. I did not feel safe going into this house and getting undressed for a stranger. Anything could have happened!!! Especially when I had been led to believe that the spa was in a professional building. I am not saying that anything would have happened, however, I am a smart, safe woman, and I try not to put myself into unsafe situations. My husband would have been furious at me if I had gone into that house! I will post a picture of the front of the building if Unilocal gives me an option to do so, then you can see for yourself what it looks like.
I tried to call the number for the business, but no one answered. I left several messages. I also emailed them. The woman who responded via email was very unprofessional. She asked me if I was trying to get a massage or trying to buy a house (basically saying that I shouldn’t be concerned with how unprofessional the business looked). We went back and forth about this through numerous emails, I wanted a refund of my money and she continued to try and tell me why my concerns were not valid.
LOL! Bottom line… I do not recommend this facility at all. Avoid them at all costs!
