History

Established in 1984.

Founded by Roosevelt Burrell, Jr in the Western Fort Worth Lake Como Community, Cowtown Traffic Control has been providing traffic control services for state, county and city road and highway construction projects. As a family owned and operated business, Cowtown Traffic Control is certified DBE, (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise), MWBE (Minority Woman Owned Business Enterprise) and HUB.(Historically Underutilized Business).

Self made business man, Roosevelt Burrell, Jr. has been an entrepreneur since 1963. From building homes for HUD, to property management, to statewide construction projects to City of Fort Worth’s Downtown Fort Worth Inc. mechanized power washing contract to clean the downtown city sidewalks, Burrell has contributed to the growth and development of the state of Texas and the Dallas/​Fort Worth metroplex for many years. A strong community leader and deacon and finance manager at his church for over 5o years.
