This is my second time at this location, I order the fish because I do not eat chicken. I ordered through the drive-​thru. And they brought my food out to me in line because the person at the window was still waiting on theirs. This I was impressed by. So this happening I assumed my food would be fresh. It was not. The fried pickles were extra crunchy and room temperature as were the hush puppies. The catfish was also room Temperature and chewy. They only thing that tasted decent were the corn nuggets. It was similar the last time I went and dined in. Bland and not fresh tasting. I hope that this changes and can’t say I will be going back.

I work at the Davids Bridal next door and patronize this store basically every shift to the point where the general manager knows my order.
Well, it was incredibly icy today, and was on my way to get some drinks for my coworkers and he saw me walking like Bambi on ice and came out in the cold to meet me and take care of me so I wouldn’t have to walk anymore. I love that store anyways, but this was just above and beyond!

I get tea at this location several times a week, but for some reason I never have much luck with the actual food. My chicken was HORRIBLE! It was not the typical Chicken E crispy fresh tenders. My chicken was funky, seems like it was battered fried twice… it’s Gross! They also forgot my mashed potatoes. This is my 3rd visit for food that hasn’t been up to Chicken E standards… please figure out what’s going in with your evening shift employees! We love Chicken E!

Don’t go too fast and you may pass the entrance from the highway. If you do, you will want to U-​turn around the highway and come back for it. The food and service at this Chicken Express were excellent.
The employees were fast, courteous and friendly. The chicken was crispy on the outside, yet juicy on the inside. Despite being fast food, the chicken strips here were not greasy at all, which resulted in the 5***** star rating from me. The roll, fries, and gravy were truly southern style. The portion was generous. Seating was also plentiful.
Definitely recommend.

Better than Cane’s. The outside looks like it could use some love. The staff was nice and the service quick. Great chicken tenders, rolls, and fried okra. My new «go to» fast food fried chicken.

It’s Easter Sunday and I need rolls for lunch. Called Chicken Express and ten minutes later two dozen fresh yeast rolls. The manager was great in helping me in such notice

I havent technically been in this location… it’s drive thru for me… but I make the assumption it’s a standard chain chicken joint. Probably not the cleanest in the world, semi ratty… whatever. The food is good, albeit not the best for you… so until I see otherwise, it’s a 3 star. The thing that ramps it up to 4 stars for me though… fried chicken livers and gizzards. As someone from the southern VA/​Carolinas area… livers and gizzards were an awesome guilty pleasure. I had yet to find anywhere in this part of FT Worth that sold them and I’m incredibly delighted this KFC knock off sells them. That makes this country boy very happy and will ensure I return regularly.

Hit or miss on the service. When I worked at Chicken E as a wee high school lass, our franchise owner told us to throw in an extra tender with each order. This has subsequently set my Chicken E standard. I’ve had this place do it a grand total of once. Their biscuits are also quite puny! What gives?! Don’t make me settle for a roll now.
