History

Established in 1925.

Carshon’s is a Kosher style restaurant that was established in 1928 by a Russian Jewish immigrant named David Carshon. Our first location was located at 1010 Houston St, then in the mid 1950’s the location moved to Berry St. After Berry Street, Carshons moved to its current location on Cleburne Road in the mid 1970’s.
