Autozone

Everyone was so helpful here. I went to the dealership to have my oil changed (due to a special) and they informed me that my battery was bad. I remembered I had replaced it with one I bought at Autozone. I called Autozone in the morning and had them check to see if it was still under warranty. Luckily it was, but I found out that when I purchased my battery it was around the time they stopped warranting batteries for more than one year. My battery has a 3 year warranty, but BE AWARE NOW that they only offer one (1) year warranties on their batteries.
So I arrive, knowing they’d do all the work. They came out to my car to check the battery/​confirm it was indeed bad as the dealership told me. It was a bad battery. One of the workers removes the battery and we head inside to get a new one. They look up my phone number to confirm the warranty and we head back to my car for the worker to put it back into my car. REMEMBER, provide them with a number you intend to have for awhile or can at least remember for a while because that is how they look up your previous purchases. This process came in handy this time, cause they needed it to look up my warranty.
All the workers there are able to do a number of installations. Of course they aren’t full on mechanics and can only do limited work, so don’t expect free services. The extent of their free installations as told by me (when you make purchases there) are listed below:
— Head and tail light installation
— Battery installation
— Windshield wipers installation
— No alternator work (although they can confirm whether or not you need a new one)

This Auto Zone always seem to have the parts I need and always buy the parts that offer lifetime. It is worth it in the end. The people that work here are always helpful and have referred me to good mechanics in the area that charges reasonable labor charges. I no longer blow hundreds of dollars at Firestone anymore since Auto Zone has helped me with the parts I need and the mechanic referral. The staff do treat its customers good and that’s why I will keep doing business here.
