Artisan Vapor Company

The staff here is twenty times more attentive and knowledgable than other shops I’ve been to. Shout out to Alexis, she walked us through every mod we were interested in and knew everything about the merchandise. Definitely making Artisan our only shop.

I am a vapor, not the most ancient and yet, not a neophyte either. Moreover, I strive to be a sane, mature adult. Thus, after a bad experience at the EastChase store-​over a coil that they did not build correctly for me-​I went back to this store, near my house.
(I will NEVER set foot in the other! Ever! Never!). Yet, I love THIS store. Chase and Caesar are coil gurus! They build with no hassles or worries and I tip and or make the monthly buy of the cream line! Sometimes I just drop by just to see ‘em and chat! It’s a «Cheers» kinda vibe, for even the manager, is an upbeat, customer service person that calls my name, yeah. my NAME, EVERY TIME, I enter the door! They literally fix me up every time I visit. These touches are the reason I return!
The place is exceptionally clean. The décor is slightly chic, woody and dark. Seats along the bar, beckon for you to come and try juice!
The juices are AWESOME! The keystone to their line is the cream line. Please try them! I beg of you! You must! They will make you a better person. :). I picked up two today!
To sum it up, go West! This location has the staff, know-​how, customer service and vibe to make it profitable for a long time. Here is where I’ll be spending money and just hanging with the ohmies! However, I will avoid the east location like shellfish pork patties at a bat mitzvah in a mosque’s back yard!

Love the quality of the e juice. 39 ml bottle size for $ 20 is icing on the cake. My customer service experience was pleasant. I’ll be back and if I notice any of the negative traits posted here by others, I’ll update my review.

The douchiest vape shop I have EVER found. I will lead with I haven’t stepped foot into this shop in at least five months. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to review them however.
They are pretentious and always trying to sell you something you don’t want. They crap all over whatever setup you have (if you don’t have the most expensive, elaborate mod, wtf are you even doing as a vaper?!). They just can’t seem to wrap their head around the fact that not everyone needs a $ 100+ setup. But don’t worry, they’ll try and sell you one!
They’ll jerk you around about their supply. My ex-​roommate kept trying to get coils from them and they kept telling her they were out and getting them in next week. On about the third week she was like WTF?! They were really rude to her, so she took her business permanently to another store.
And let’s talk about other stores. I have never been in a shop who spends more time talking about other vape stores, than Artisan. If these guys aren’t crapping all over another shop, they’re not happy. I honestly can’t think of any shop who has EVER said anything negative about other shops in the area, except these guys. The shop they love to be the meanest about, is the best shop I’ve ever been in.
I would love to be able to shop here, because they do genuinely have some of the best premium juices I can find locally. But it’s not worth the pure rudeness. They don’t understand customer service. I’ll gladly take my business to another shop, or online. I’ve had multiple acquaintances tell me similar stories who have also refused to go back. Not sure how they plan on sustaining their business model. Must be all the overpriced juices.
[P.S. Pretty sure their parent co makes the Longhorn Juices, which is a shame, because I won’t support their parent co either. Stuff is delicious. They’re losing out on a lot of money with me.]

This is purely for the juice selection, juice quality, and other stock on mods and such.
In short– it’s the best. I mean it’s not even close to anything else. The juice quality and selection alone blows everything out of the water.
Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. The flavors are the best I’ve ever had– especially the Longhorn Private Collection (which i suspect is the parent or sister corporation to Artisan). Best quality clouds, and the flavor is unbeatable.
They also carry 3^rd party lines like space jam, deep blue and a couple others.
If you want cheap, muted flavors– go to vixen or red rooster. If you want a flavor you actually ENJOY vaping, go to Artisan.

In the vape shop world, customer service is key, as is understanding that there are many different kinds of vapers around. Not all of us are into giant tanks, mods, and home-​made coils. Some of want a battery that lasts for about a day, and a tank that’s easy to use.
We have been vaping for about a year and went into this place looking to replace our simple, small glass tanks (they die after a couple months, of course). The guy behind the counter took one look at our gear and frowned. The merchandise is behind the counter and far away, making it hard to see what’s what. He didn’t offer to show us what we asked for – something similar to what we were holding in our hands. He grabbed something easily 2 – 3 times the size (and price) and tried to convince us that «smaller tanks are like a thing of the past.»
He then wondered if the tank he was trying to sell us would even work on our small batteries.
«Yeah, we don’t really get into those much,» he told us, and explained that «twist batteries» are not what they sell… Even though I’m pretty sure I saw several.
I don’t really get into a condescending dude trying to up-​sell me when he’s not even sure what we’re looking for or what we’re holding.
Luckily, our GPS routed us to a much better shop nearby, where the employee looked at what we had, explained the product he had that was pretty similar, discussed how it worked, and asked if he could help with anything else. You know, like someone in customer service is supposed to.
I would agree that the look of this place is nice. I’ve been to some vape shops that looked like basements and others that were pretty sketchy. The leather furniture doesn’t make you feel any more comfortable, though, when the employee is trying to make you feel like a fool.

In my quest to stop my smoking habit, I’ve picked up electronic cigarettes. In my experience, most shops look pretty sparse and poorly decorated. Artisan actually has a nice wooden bar you can pull up a chair to and hang out. I’ve never seen more than 2 people working here. The whole idea of really getting into this ‘vaping’ thing is humorous to me. I don’t care about mods, or tanks, or the amount of wattage or whatever other terms these dudes throw at me. I want a tank that’s not a pain in the ass to refill and a battery that will last 24 hours. There was a chick hanging out at the store who had just purchased a bunch of stuff and I actually spent more time talking with her and going over products then the guys working. I’ll be back– they have great flavors from lonestar and it’s close to the other places I shop.

The good news is they have amazing flavors. The bad news is, hardly any of the flavors were available to test and the customer service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. We walked in and asked to try a few flavors, and the employee behind the counter just threw us a tip and pointed to the station where the tanks were. That was the last we saw of him for quite a while, and there was only one other customer in the store. The testing station was dirty and unorganized, and a lot of the tanks we tried to test didn’t even work. At some point, the employees friends (?) walked in and it was clear that we were no longer welcome. I made my purchase (without getting to test it) and hurried out. I love the Plano location of Artisan, but I doubt I will visit this one ever again.

Poor customer service. I went in this morning and was the only customer in there. The girl should not be working with the pubic. She was irritated with my questions and rude. I usually get help from great people that work there… but not this one!!!

Love the staff and the juice is good! They are equipped with the cheapest accessories and cartamizers along with a ton of really cool batteries! Love this place!

I went in in May after my daughter demanded I quit smoking cold turkey. Even though the two sales people were busy, they greeted me. Yes, I did have to sit bored for about 20 mins at the bar while they helped others, but that’s ok because I expect full attention while I’m being helped. Got my ecig and two flavors (and I was able to try all of them). I was very satisfied with my purchase.
About 3 weeks later my ecig went possessed. It wouldn’t work when I needed it to and would randomly fire up when just sitting on the counter. So I stopped by one morning. The guy said he’d exchange it but I needed to have the box and everything in order to do so. Luckily, I still had it all but it was at home. So I had to drive home to get the box that should’ve been thrown out long ago. I understand it’s company policy, but it’s very inconvenient. Had I not still had it, I would’ve been extremely mad because I would’ve had to purchase another. And I know it was not his fault, he was very helpful to me!
Overall, good service!

So I recently reviewed this place and I’ll admit that it was a bit late. I had gone to this place months ago and just thought to review it.
The new manager Cameron messaged me regarding my previous review and offered to make it up to me. I needed a new ecig so I gave it a shot and the customer service was 100%. I hadn’t mentioned yet that I was the author of the negative review and everyone was very helpful. They helped me pick out the best ecig and accessories for me and Cameron let me try all the flavors I wanted. He recommended flavors to me, which I tried with others I selected from the menu, and his recommendations were the best ones.
This experience definitely made it up to me and I would recommend others check this place out.

To be honest, I was appalled by the poor customer service of this store. At even the most mediocre vapor stores, the employees are still pretty helpful and eager to show off their wares. My boyfriend and I always like to check out new vape shops, and when we spotted Artisan on our way home, we decided to drop in. There were two guys working, and we were not even greeted, even considering there was no other customers in the store. We took the liberty of greeting THEM, and they acted as if we were interrupting their conversation or something. My boyfriend tried to ask them a few questions about the hardware, and they not only had no idea what they were talking about but spoke in the most condescending way as if they did, then would turn back to one another and carry on their conversation. We started looking at the [overpriced] liquids, and when we asked if they had the flavors available to test, we were told, «No, but you can open the bottles and smell them.» What? We have not been back, and, while I would like to hope that their system and service has gotten better since our visit, I’m guessing from the other reviews that’s not the case. I say, check out one of the many other vape shops popping up all over DFW; don’t waste your money or your time here.

It was… okay. Got a protank 2 at a good price. Feels really fancy when you want in. I like my vapor places very casual. Not many choices of liquid sizes. Only 15 (in some flavors) and 39ml. Yes I said 39ml. If you like fancy vapor bars definitely go here.

I went to several other Vapor shops looking for the right tank for a variable voltage battery. I wanted a tank that could be used at high voltage without the burnt taste. I was told at the other shops that I had to turn the Volts down and probably would never use my battery turned all the way up… So why in the world did you sell me a variable voltage battery?
I should have went to Artisan Vapor from the get go. A young man named Drew helped me and this guy knows his stuff. When I told him what I was looking for he was like you need X, Y and Z… Boom! He schooled me on a few things and was very helpful and has a great attitude. I bought what he recommended and it works great!

Wanting to find a place close to the house that sold vapor I found this place. My fiancé and I walked in and we weren’t greeted. We were looked at like we didn’t belong there. We were looked at a couple of times but never really acknowledged.

What an amazing company and fantastic staff! I have been coming in for the past few months and foresee myself as a long term customer. Jenna and Dave are extremely knowledgeable about the product and the company. They are very helpful and more than willing to go the extra mile to help any of their customers. Anytime I have a question they have the answer or problem solve until the problem is resolved. They have really educated me on my mod and my tank. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you to both of you, Jenna and Dave y’all are the best!
