Really one star is pushing it Management did nothing but make the issues worse. Orders was wrong all night from the food to the drinks
I can truly say my birthday suckered this year. I will not return ever.

My sister and I were seated right away and were asked what we wanted to drink. It took forever to get our drinks which were delivered by the waiter asking if we were ready to order. We gave our orders which took quite awhile to come to our table and was delivered by another person. We had to ask for silverware because there was none on the table so he gave us 2 forks in ONE napkin and then left. We had to get up and get our own napkins and then was asked by another person if we need help in a nasty manner so we asked for additional silverware like knees and spoons which she never brought. We made it thru our meal and never had anyone come to our table to see if we needed anything or asked if our meals wee okay. The waiter finally dropped off our check and walked away. The main concern by your wait staff was the Cowboys game not your costumers. This is not the first time we had poor service from your staff so it’s not likely we’ll return.

The last time I will come here. Slow service and they have those germ hotbed tablets on the tables now! Do we really need them? Every kid automatically reaches for them and we know every kid washes their hands… NOT …
The one good thing this place had going for it was it is smoke free… Now it can be free of me too!

Starting this review mid visit cause we have nothing better to do, we waited a long time (maybe 20 min) just to be acknowledged. When we were finally seated we did see a waiter after only 10 minuets. Then we got drinks they also took our order, then an employee smoking outside the exit we were seated near with the door propped open and leaning in to talk to her friends smoking up the section (in a non smoking facility) we were seated in. After a while we got food. The food was good but that is really the only good thing I can say so far. Now the waitress that was smoking is playing with a guys hair and kissing him. Our waiter seems to be polite, he’s just not here much and my drink is empty. The waitress that was smoking and kissing someone is now playing with her boobs. We finally got the check and off the the hotel we go!

Dont you love it when your entrée comes out two minutes after your appetizer? Dont ya!!! Hells bells people, timing is a very simple science. Dont let the word science scare you, not everything is rocket surgery…
Geez Louise… lets get that fixed Applebee people… The food was decent, but man I did enjoy the cold beer.
Heres an idea, serve the app, wait ten minutes, then drop the food to be cooked for the entrée, sound hard? Me not think so… I will still go by every now and then…

Food was fresh and delicious. We sat at the bar and received prompt and friendly service. Had the 2 for 20 deal and the oriental chicken salad was really good. Vegetables were fresh and the chicken was hot and crispy.

Music so freakin loud I can’t even have a conversation with my group. As long as the bartender and that drunk moron at the bar are happy, I guess that’s important. And yes, whatever makes them talk louder, yes let’s do that…
Seriously, never again.

Been here 3 time in 3 weeks and have had to ask for management each time due to lack of acknowledgement by waitstaff… always receive same excuse that our waiter has not come to work yet… meanwhile there are employees standing around doing nothing… will take my money and future business elsewhere… do not use this location… show them that everyone no matter race, size, and economic level that rhey are worthy of acknowledgement and service. It makes me give them a star. they don’t deserve one!

We really like the food. But each time we go in, they are always slow. The service staff is not very upbeat. As a matter fact, they look bored. We would go back, just because we like the food. And we hope that the wait gets shorter. We sure miss the one on Hulen. It was so much better.

I want to update this review because Applebee’s has been delivering a lot of quality on my recent visits, and I honestly feel like the location near my house deserves the 4^th star. I won’t speak about ALL Applebee’s locations. Heaven knows I’ve had a few bad experiences at other places. But the one on i30 behind Ridgmar Mall (near Best Buy) has been great for me.
I’ve been going to this place since they first opened in the 90s. And while Applebee’s has gone through many changes over the years, this place has managed to maintain a pretty high standard that you don’t see in every franchise B&G.
Lately, they’ve been rotating their menu at least a couple of times per year so you can almost always find something new and interesting if you want to veer from the norm. And they keep a good selection of old favorites on the menu as well so if you’re not feeling adventurous, you can likely find an old favorite.
Their latest push has been pub style apps. I’ve tried most of them and two really stick out for me. I am really enjoying the «Kobe-​style meatballs» and the «Sriracha Shrimp». Sriracha has such a great flavor for cooking. My stomach can often not handle super spicy things. I had some GI problems in my 20s that makes it hard to each overly spicy items. But Sriracha is a rich delicious flavor that manages to be spicy without sending my stomach into fits of pain. And they get the perfect level of heat on the shrimps with this dish. As for the meatballs, they are so tender and tasty. I hate to use such an old cliché, but it’s the only description that fits; they just melt in your mouth. I never thought they’d make an appetizer better than their Won-​Ton Tacos, but here we are. Yay!
Applebee’s also offers good steaks, good burgers, good sandwiches, and lately they’ve been making some really great plates with salmon, chicken, and other great options over well prepared sides and greens. It’s delicious stuff they’re putting out and I recommend it highly.
If I had one criticism of Applebee’s as a dining experience, it would be their desserts. Some of them are downright unappetizing. Some just don’t excite me enough to even want to try them. I’m not very big on desserts anyway, but if a place has a good one that seems very tasty, I will occasionally split an order with my girlfriend. Sadly, nothing on their menu makes me want to save room for dessert. Cheesecake is delicious, but they serve it in a cup of some kind? I dunno, some folks might be interested in that. But for me, it just seems like an odd way to serve a tried and true classic dessert selection.
The last point I want to call attention to is their take-​out service called Car-​side To Go. I really like this option. Applebee’s is open late like a bar, and I’m a bit of a night-​owl. So it’s not uncommon for me to not get hungry until most places are already closed. But a quick call to Applebee’s and I can get a great burger or even a steak as late at 1 in the morning (their technically open until 2 though). This isn’t going to be an option for everyone, but for me it’s a standout feature of their operation and I really appreciate it.
So thanks Applebee’s. You guys are killing it right now and I appreciate the effort to be a step above. Well done you.

What would you expect? Right?! It’s Applebee’s after all… Well, hopefully you don’t expect much. If your experience is anything like mine you will wait 10+ minutes on drinks 40+ on appetizers and your meal will come out with your apps too. Oh, and don’t expect to get your silverware– even though you have your food. The waitress will be short and seem distracted. The food was sad and now I’m sad. I hope you don’t get sad and I hope you don’t have to get sad here. Oh well.

Food was good but, waitress was no good. Our order was wrong, appetizer was late. Manager came by offered an apology. We should have gotten our appetizer free or something. This mix up with our food made us late for an appointment. We will NOT be back $ 71, is alot to pay for a bad experience.

Well took my girlfriend and grandmother to this applebees. The food was delicious. My girl got the pasta penne. And I got the triple bacon burger it was awesome. But honestly the service wa awesome. best I have had in awhile. Are waiter Sylvester was awesome… ask for him or Eddie. Very professional and awesome. Great attitudes and just cared about there guest. I’m Goin back thanks to them.

Probably won’t go back for entrees. If I do go back, I’ll probably just sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers, which are half-​price after 10pm.
Service was bad; waitress was careless. Food was barely passable. Drinks were okay. Restuarant was too loud.

Horrible management. Found a bug in my food and our waitress blatantly told us «I forgot your drinks, I forget stuff if I don’t write it down…» Asked to speak to a manager, he comes to the table in a ghostbusters jumpsuit (Thursday is apparently costume night) did not introduce himself just basically blew off the whole situation, said sorry and left. We received our $ 40 tab…2 app & 2 entrees… I was astonished we were offered a dessert or something comped! I mean come on people!!! A bug?! That’s gross. I had to call the manager back to the table and let him know I was very disappointed in his actions. Oh, and to ask him his name because like I said he didn’t introduce himself. He gave us the same weak sorry and gave us a card for $ 10 off –_​– needless to say… we will not return to THIS Applebee’s.

The server had bad manners, and wasn’t very attentive. The food was bland, and was still cold in the middle.

Wide variety but kinda bland. Reminds me of another version of chili’s but less flavor? It was nice to change it up a bit though.

What can I say this is my 2^nd time I have given Applebee’s a try and I’m not going to give them a 3^rd. Food is bland I had the fish and fries and I could of got better at Long John Silvers my boyfriend a BBQ grilled chicken breast and it came out with just BBQ poured over the chicken. We also had 3 drinks with dinner and out bill was $ 42. Applebee’s is very overpriced

Same as other Applebee’s. Food was pretty good except, our appetizer came out about 5 minutes after our meal and only because I asked where is our appetizer. Needless to say, we got it to go.

Can I be honest? I have never had a good meal at Applebees. All the food tastes bland and the same. I’ve had the Fiesta chicken, Steak., and three cheese pene all of which were just average. Not only is the food average it’s pricey! Also, a «double» shot is more like half a single shot. They are stingy with flavor and alcohol.
