Alta Mesa Animal Clinic

This place only gets one star because the recptionist is nice. I made an apt for my puppy who had a grooming accident and had the appointment at 5pm. I was taken to the back right away but i sat there waiting for 40min. I also overheard the secretary tell the vet my situation (my puppy is nervous about people touching him) and I heard the Vet say «well I don’t know what im going to do with that». Then he went into another room to casually talk and laugh with someone while i was sitting their waiting. Also the small old room looked dirty there was dust on containers and the nail clippers didn’t look clean.
By the way the exam was going to be 59 $ over priced for quality of the office if you ask me.
After waiting the 40min I walked out and told the woman at the front desk I was leaving to go elsewhere
Also the area surrounding it didn’t look very safe. I guess that area of Fort Worth does not have good Vet’s I ended up going to a Family Vet in North Richland Hills that my boyfriend suggested. It was cheaper and they made my puppy feel comforable and helped his wound, let’s just say I’ll be going there instead.

I called around to multiple vet offices, looking for an affordable puppy package. I called 3x to verify price and package. I decided on this office because it seems like a little mom and pop business rather than a big chain. At the end of my 2 nd visit I was charged again for this package. Of course the person I talked to was not working and the vet didn’t seem to care. Thank you for being just another uncaring «business»

I take my oversized Boxer here. This place is like old school mom and pops. Very caring people. They know you and your dog by first name. Great place decent prices.
