History

Established in 1972.

Al Boenker (pronounced like «Al Banker») has placed his Company in the top 1% of independent insurance agencies in the United States. If you ask him what his secret is, he’ll tell you it is very simple, «Early to bed. Early to rise. Work like crazy and advertise», says Boenker. It has been a simple philosophy instilled in him from his grandmother.

One of the biggest part’s of the agency’s history is the Al Boenker Insurance Race Team. The team raced in the late 90s until 2003. The race team became a major part of the Al Boenker Insurance marketing campaign and remains important to the business today. «It all started as an activity for me and my son», said Boenker. «All of a sudden, we’re in a professional series and everyone wanted to see and hear about the team». Al and Quad both raced the Pro Formula Mazda Series that appeared on ESPN throughout the year.
