Ziebart – Fort Wayne

Wow!!! Took my car in for a detail and was not disappointed. My car is a 2008 with 181 000 miles. So needless to say it’s been through a lot. When I picked it up, it felt like a new car. Makes me feel like driving it another 180,000

Worst customer experience ever. Took my car to get detailed, husband picked it up and when I looked inside of it the seats were covered in dirt still and their was blue crap on my back seats and on the inside of my doors – there wasn’t anything blue in my car beforehand!!! I was able to get all of this out when I cleaned my car, however, that’s what I paid them to do. When I called in to complain and tried to get my car recleaned the manager was incredibly difficult to work with and told me that she couldn’t help me. They refused to refund my money or give me a credit — instead demanded «proof» of their errors. I am still so frustrated about our experience, coming from a customer service background – I would NEVER treat anyone the way my husband and i were treated. I’ve had bad experiences in different places before, but generally speaking if I asked to have something redone bc it was either done incorrectly or not completed the business has always made it right. We would have made Ziebart our detailing spot if they had simply corrected their error. Don’t take your car here for a detailing. Seriously. They will not make it right.

I’ve had my vehicle serviced here for five years and the service has been very good. Customer pick up and delivery is a nice feature, as the service takes several hours. They do have a nice customer waiting area if you decide to use it.

I went in to Ziebart to inquire about my mother’s package she purchased when she bought her car a couple of years ago. She has been ill so I’m in town to take care of her, in the meantime making appointments, taking care of car maintenance, etc. I was planning on making an appointment for the next time I’m in town but Douglas (after learning of my mother’s situation) worked me in the next day. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. When I picked up the car it looked great. They went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this store.

So happy that when I bought my car last year to include the Diamond package. Picked my car up today and it looked great… just like new again! Also Doug and the rest of the staff there was awesome… they made me giggle! Great customer service is hard to find these days! Thank you for doing a great job!!!

The product may be fine, but this review is based on my customer service experience. I had rust protection applied to my white vehicle. It left an amber colored residue in various places and was quite unsightly. I called the Fort Wayne store to ask if it can be removed and why I wasn’t educated that this would happen. I first spoke to Douglas, I believe, and he said it was common, after asking if I owned a white vehicle (therefore acknowledging this isn’t the first call they received). After asking why they wouldn’t educate their customers on this he put me on hold. After a minute of being on hold, the manager, Dianne, was on the line. Long story short, she launched a well scripted lecture on how they do business, and how I have no business telling them to do business. Her delivery was abrasive, arrogant, inconsiderate, and extremely unprofessional. After I made a comment pointing out the illogical nature of her speech and treatment of customers, she promptly hung up on me. I currently have a call into Ziebart headquarters to ask if this is how they expect managers to promote their company. I also made a call to another Ziebart franchise, and the gentleman who took my call, listened to my concerns and helped me come up with a solution. So, in summary, if you’re looking to get products from Ziebart, steer clear of the Fort Wayne location.

Dianne is excellent to work with. They do a terrific job. We take all of our vehicles there for their clear protective coating. Diane is great to work with.
