I had the Philly before, and I didn’t like it because the beef was stringy. On this second visit, I am trying the Reuben, and it is pretty good… The fries are awesome too.

This place has amazing subs, fries and lemonade. I stopped there one day when I was traveling and I was pleasantly surprised. Me and my son both got the chicken Parmesan which was not to messy and very tasty. We also got a large fry which may have been to much but they were fabulous all the same. We also got the hand squeezed lemonade which is truly hand made. It was refreshing and went great with my sandwich. The parking wasn’t great but it doesn’t really matter because once you get inside its worth it. There was a lot of seating and the employees were very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and my table was spotless. I couldn’t ask for a better place to get lunch!

Spoiler alert: I have never had a really REALLY good cheesesteak west of eastern PA. Penn Station was a quick & early dinner before heading to the Coliseum one night. It is right on the corner of Clinton & Coliseum, but I had no idea it was even there. I think they need someone dressed as a monkey out on the corner or something to draw attention to the place. I noticed it on the Unilocal map while we were down the road, and figured we’d try it out. Glad we did. Let’s review the good: + Fresh lemonade & iced tea makes for a good Arnold Palmer. + Fresh cut fries were plump enough to be filling, crispy enough to be interesting, and tasty enough to eat. Note: Fries are done in peanut oil. + Cheesesteak means CHEESE, and there was none lacking on this sandwich! Long strands extended out from sandwich on every bite. + Friendly service. + Better than subway. However, since it was just a ‘decent’ cheesesteak, here are some critiques. — Too many onions. This is not a cheese-onion sandwich. — Not enough meat. I really think there was a 50⁄50 split between meat and onions. Should be more like 80/20, or 75⁄25. — Not enough peppers. Had to hunt them down to find them. — Small TVs. I don’t think they could have found smaller TVs. Overall, if they could fix the ratio of meat to onions ratio, and bulk up on the peppers, it might be a 5 star!

Good subs with homemade french fries. I enjoyed the Italian. Feeding 4 ran around $ 35. 4 subs with sm fries and drinks. Good sandwiches but not good enough to choose over Subway or Quiznos.

I remember a time when subs were robust and served hot. This is how I would best describe these subs. They had a Philly cheesesteak, chicken parm, italian sausage, and a dagwood, to just name a few. I had an italian chicken sub that came with marinara, chicken breast, onions, fresh mushrooms and melted cheese. The restaurant also has fresh squeezed lemonade and fresh french fries. The fries are really good. They have a huge case of fresh potatoes and they are sliced and fried golden, right in front of you. This was a very satisfying meal.
