This is an affordable community college. There is not much of a social experience here. The most important thing to note is they are terrible with job/career placement. The career development center just gave me a «how to» pamphlet and a job search website. The department professors weren’t very helpful either. I wish I’d gone elsewhere.

You get from this college what you put into it. There is a wide selection of courses to choose from. You can take them on campus, online or at a variety of off campus sites. The school has hundreds of clubs to get involved in, a staff that is very easy to become closely acquainted with and an ever expanding campus and curriculum. Although it is ‘Indiana’ and ‘Purdue’ it is also considered ‘local’ and ‘community’. You can make it a boring college that is there to simply serve the purpose of giving you a degree at the end of your time. However, you can also make it a full college experience by getting involved and making it your own. You can make it what you want or need it to be. All around it really works for everyone.
