Four D’s Bar & Grill

Good beer selection, was surprised and excited to see Three Floyds Gumballhead on tap. This is more of a dive bar type environment but has charm. I thought the service was good, very friendly bartenders that seemed to enjoy what they were doing.

We went here on 1−19−15. We arrived about 8 pm and it was very slow only had about 8 or 9 people there.
First thing we noticed is that the bartender kept telling everyone that she still felt drunk from the night before. But she was very nice. When she came to our table she immediately told us there was no cook. But there was one on the way in and would be there in about 30 mins. So while we waited we had a couple of drinks. I noticed that the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of days. The restroom looked very dirty writing on the walls, floors filthy. The smoking area up front was nasty. Chair’s very dirty, a massive amount of cigarette butts littered the area. Then when the cook finally arrived it took about 30mins to receive our food. I was watching the time to see how long it would take to receive our order. The only thing wrong with the food was the chips tasted burned like they came from a fryer that hasn’t had an oil change in a while. The pita bread I had with my order had no flavor very bland. Then instead of cleaning something when the cook had nothing to do they just sat in the bar area. My question to the owner is this. What happened to the standards and holding people accountable for doing or not doing their jobs? This place really changed since the last time I was here.

Our waitress acted like we were inconveniencing her by ordering drinks. When we asked if we could order wings after not being asked for 20 minutes. She told us she would have to check if their kitchen was open. (At 9:30) they’re kitchen is advertised to be open til at least midnight. She came back later asking us for drinks and didn’t say anything about the wings until we asked her a second time and finally got us menus. She acted rude the whole time taking all of our orders and messed them up while serving them to us. Would only come back if I had a different waitress.

We used to go here pretty often but it seemed to go downhill. Seemed like they were always having issues with the beer taps. The food is okay. Hog wings are good when they have them and the sliders are good but if you get them with cheese, order extra cheese.

Not a bad place to hang out with friends… Quiet and the beer prices are reasonable but the food isn’t the greatest…
