Bricks 4 Kidz provides an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, build, and play with LEGO® bricks. Programs are built around our proprietary model plans designed by engineers and architects, all with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. Our specially-​designed project kits and theme-​based models provide the building blocks for our approach to educational play. We offer activities for children ages 3−13+, including after-​school enrichment classes, summer camps, holiday camps, birthday parties, preschool classes, and Kidz Nights Out. The Bricks 4 Kidz franchise, based in Jacksonville, FL has been in operation since 2008. There are more than 600 franchises worldwide.

Business Owner

Sandy Scovel is a yuppie empty nester who has always had the desire to make a difference. She left a career in nursing to pursue the goal of helping kids in the Fort Wayne area begin their love affair with science, technology, engineering, and math, through Bricks 4 Kidz classes. Sandy was born and raised in the fort, but has lived in Hawaii, Alabama, Colorado, and Indianapolis, and always came back to Fort Wayne because for her, it’s all about family and midwest values. Sandy has a bachelor degree in management from Purdue University, and her LPN certificate from Ivy Tech. Sandy considers herself a lifelong learner, and enjoys a long list of activities which allow her an outlet for creativity.
