History

Established in 1950.

The history of Bolyards Auto Sales starts back 65 years ago in 1950 when David Bolyard first started the company. Back then, the business had a few gas pumps and serviced lawn mowers. After many decades of business, Bolyard’s Auto Sales has stuck with servicing and selling vehicles. Our customers are what we stand for; we make sure our customers are happy with every aspect of their purchase. Making sure our customers are taken care of, has earned us a great reputation for selling dependable vehicles. We take pride in our vehicles and make sure that the vehicle is in great condition before it is sold.

John Bolyard (David’s son) is the current owner of Bolyard’s Auto Sales, so the business has stayed in the family. John is on the property 95% of the time to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase. John has worked at Bolyard’s Auto Sales since he was 12 years old, so he knows the ends and outs of every aspect of the business.

Owner John Bolyard loves interacting with the Fort Wayne residents who come into Bolyard’s Auto Service & Sales. Some of John’s earliest memories are working at and hanging around the business with his father when he was a young boy. Not only did he learn many valuable skills during this time, but he also learned the importance of treating the customers with dignity and respect. John and his entire staff strive to live up to the high expectations of great customer service set by his father many years ago. They invite anyone in the market for a new vehicle, or in need of auto repair, to visit the shop today.
