Absolute Tan

I love the atmosphere, friendly staff. REALLY know their stuff when it comes to the beds and lotions. Also think its cool they have a person airbrushing spray tans onto you instead of a weird machine. It feels more custom to me.

This place is the greatest it’s the only place I’ll tan, I drive across town just to go there, the workers are very friendly and I love that you see the owner quite a bit oh and her sons that work there when needed are so nice and sweet… Again the best place ever

Absolute tan is amazing! The employees are always helpful and friendly. Every time I go in there they always remember my name and know what beds I like to do. Whenever I have trouble with lotion, they always know exactly what type of lorion is best for me and they are understanding when it comes to making sure stuff fits my budget. The place is well kept and I love that they give student discounts! These guys know what they’re doing! If you’re tanning anywhere else in fort wayne, you’re wasting your time. Absolute tan is the BEST!

Honestly, one of the worst places I have been to for tanning.
First of all you walk in the doors and the guy working has obviously never tanned in his life. There are black lights and flashy lights, its a tanning place not a night club!
The guy working doesn’t seem like he knows very much about tanning, my boyfriend said he was fair skinned and wanted to know what he suggested for tanning time and the guy put him in there for eight minutes, which caused him to burn.
He walked us back to the rooms and explained briefly how to use the beds and then walked away without offering any sort of eyewear, after we had to request for something to shield our eyes then he just gave us little stickers to put on our eyes.
The little rooms where the tanning beds have really flimsy walls that felt like would fall down any second.
And the worst thing of all was the buildup that was on the beds. When you left the place you smelled of 15 different kinds of lotion and it was not very pleasant.

Lemme let you in on a little secret here, folks. This place has a coolness factor that most Tanning places can’t match. Great, personal service, only one stand-​up booth however.
On a side note… if you go in on your birthday (like I did) you get free tanning, and a free lotion packet. Happy birthday to you, and you’re welcome.
