MaGerk’s Pub & Grill

Food was good pub food. WIDE variety on the menu but strongly suggest the crab dip, sandwiches and wings. Staff was nice albeit a tad slow. We happened upon trivia night and it was awesome!

Great night to stop in after passing by it hundreds of times.
Half price burgers and they were amazing.
Seriously, one of the best bar menus around.
Very nice and helpful staff.

This is truly my family’s favorite local place. We are there at least twice a week. The food is consistent, the service is great, and the staff is always really friendly. We’ve been going there since it opened back in 2008.

Been here quite a few times with friends on a Thursday night when they used to have karaōke. Beer selection is ok. The best thing about coming here on Thursday night is the $ 5 cheesesteak specials they have. Very good.

Contrary to the two stars, I’m actually a fan of the food at MaGerk’s Pub & Grill, unfortunately the quality of the service destroys what should be a quality experience. Last Tuesday as we often do, we went to participate in their generally fun trivia night. Shortly after meeting our friends (seven of us total) at the table we ordered our beverages and our food, I ordered a diet soda because I can’t drink normal soda — at some point our food was delivered (and as mentioned, the food is good), and I got a few refills on my drink,
About 40 minutes past without our server stopping by, so I went to the bartender and asked for a refill on my diet soda, I was understandably upset when the bartender informed me that I had been drinking regular (non-​diet) soda all night.
The bartender must have informed our server that I was unhappy, and rather than her showing up at the table and explaining or apologizing for any confusion regarding my beverage choice she made the choice of avoiding all seven of us completely. My wife actually had the bartender request the manager stop at our table, we discussed the dangerous circumstances of what can happened when someone is served something other than what they ordered, the manager understood and made it clear that she was going to speak with the server.
Again I like the food, I like the trivia night, I like the bartender, but bad service can 100% ruin an evening, and that was the case this particular visit.
We’ve been there a number of times before, the service is never stellar, do yourself a favor, if you find yourself at MaGerk’s sit at the bar.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Good quality food and service. During the week on lunch time its fairly quiet which is a huge plus. They have daily specials and a good selection of beer/​cocktails. TVs are available with sports. I don’t know how this place is during the weekends or on a Friday night, but I had a great experience and the food was very good.

Wow what a great place! I set up a company Christmas party with Magerks, (to be honest a bit last minute). Heather worked with us to pick a day, and menu for 40 people. We chose the heated tent with the bar for our event, and it was lovely. Firstly the tent was nice and warm, and the atmosphere was great! The bar staff made fantastic drinks, and they are so polite on top of it. We were so excited when we saw the outdoor fire pit! We ate dinner, which was absolutely delicious, and then headed outside for drinks around the fire. We all had a great time, and will definitely consider them for other events. What is better than fantastic food, drinks, and customer service.
It was so good I cant wait to go again on my own time.

Apparently, management has gone downhill. Tonight I arrived at 10:30 with a group of friends and we ordered a couple of beers. We were then informed that they would be closing down and kicking us out in 20 minutes. When we asked why they were closing early without warning, they told us that it was because we were the only costumers. This was rather upsetting as some of us had driven a ways to get there and we hadn’t even begun our drinks. Needless to say, we will never be meeting here in the future.

I’ll start by saying they have great food and a good selection of beer on tap. However, good eats and suds a good bar does not make.
I met around a half dozen friends there one evening after a long drive to the bar around 10:30pm. As soon as I got there I learned it would be better if I didn’t get something to drink so that I wouldn’t have to chug it immediately; the bar was closing at 11pm. When asked why, the bartenders replied with attitude that our small group was about to be the only people left, so they were closing. At the time, I felt fairly incensed, but rather tired, so I brushed it off. After some mulling, I realized I had been gypped out of a good beer experience and some valuable time. Major fail by MaGerk’s.
For all bars in a capitalistic society, please remember that the customer is king (to an extent). Do not close your doors 3 hours early because your tab count won’t outweigh your bartender pay rate. It’s unprofessional, rude, and insulting. I won’t be patronizing MG’s anymore.

I have ventured here a few times for the decent beer selection. Would really like to see Russian River beers here (Pliny, Blind Pig, Damnation), but they also have others like the Tröegs Troegenator — yumm.
This place has both large indoor (multiple rooms with karaōke) and outdoor dining. There are lots of TVs inside with moderate size screens to entertain you with Eagles losing against some other crappy team, again.
I like the outdoor bar a lot. Great venue for casual company outings. Parking can be tough even with a parking lot.

Had a party for 40 people and was beyond pleased. The venue, the staff and the food was stellar. Still can’t figure out how the waitresses remembered who ordered what. Our guests didn’t want the party to end. The entire process was beyond my expectations. Thanks for hosting a memorable event!

I am HOOKED on MaGerks! Don’t let first looks fool you — it’s no average local pub found in the United States suburbs! When was the last time you had SUSHI from a pub? Yeah, didn’t think that answer came easy to your mind :-)
And the cooked sushi that I had during happy hour was prepard well and was enjoyed by yours truly!
Actually, here’s what truly floored me about MaGerks: I stopped by on a Tuesday evening just to relax with a beer and chicken flatbread… and the pub was just as crowded as it was on a weekend! Seriously, the ‘burbs are IN LOVE with this establishment!
So, why didn’t I give MaGerks ⁵⁄₅ stars? If only I didn’t have the brussel sprouts with blue cheese that ONE TIME… too much blue cheese, too much overwhelming my palette. MaGerks — don’t get too haughty!!!

Went here for the first time and it was great. There is plenty to chose from on the menu, and it has some appetizers that most pubs wouldn’t. We had the fried pickles and it was enough to feed 4 or 5. They were delicious
Dinner was delicious and the service was great. It’s a fun environment and it’s really clean and well kept.
I for sure will go back!

I am at the New location in Horsham Pa this is my 2^nd time here. The bar staff sucks. You have to flag someone down to get a drink. The 1^st time I waited 15 mins and left. Came ba, k to try again today. This time after 10. mins I flagged someone down. I was not the only one that had to do this. All you G women bartenders they need some men or people with more experience. However the you G lady who waited on our table was good but the menu is extremely limited an extreme disappointment. Guess I’ll be going back to Ft Washington at least three the food menu is big the service is good but still not a variety in the type of staff no people of color. Not a good look MaGerks you must diversify.

What a good find near work! My office just moved here and we’re used to Bensalem with endless options. I went here after work with a friend for dinner. We went on a Wednesday night so sushi was $ 5 and they had beer specials. Sushi at a pub and grill? Weird, right? But delicious. Not the best sushi I’ve had, but for $ 5… You can’t afford not to. I also got the tomato soup and adult grilled cheese on a pretzel roll. Delish. What a unique way to serve tomato soup, they put in a crock bowl and melt cheese and croutons on top of the soup. The service was awesome too. I’ll definitely be back!

Came here on a whim after a work conference down the road. I got the special which was a turkey and Brie sandwich — it was delicious.
The Eagles wings were also a neat concoction and they were very good!
Beer selection is on point.

I don’t think MaGerk’s could have packed in one more person on Saturday night.
The room on the far right was jam packed. They had a great band playing Beatles and Dead covers. The dance floor was hopping.
The center room was more densely populated than Calcutta, as patrons watched the March Madness games.
And our private room on the left was a great place for our party to enjoy a great meal of chicken parm, salad, roast zucchini, and ziti. The chicken parm was excellent!
All of the employees we interacted with, from the parking valet to the bartender to the servers were polite and very pleasant.
I was just visiting the area for the weekend, so I have no idea how much local competition MaGerk’s has, but from what I saw, they own this zip code!

I came here to meet some friends on a Thursday and arrived at 12:45. There were a good amount of people and even some on stage singing karaōke. By 1 the bartender informed us she was doing last call. When I ordered a drink she kept her eyes on her phone while taking my order. I felt as though she really didn’t want to give me a drink at all. I could notice staff pushing all the patrons out of the bar in a timely fashion. She forced us to close out our tabs by 12:30 and fill out credit card slip. This made no sense to me considering there was a good amount of people in the establishment. The whole experience was unpleasant and I can’t say I will be giving them any further business.

Awesome food I had the McNeil fries and it was soo good! Best fries around I’m def coming back here again next week lol my boyfriend had the cheesesteak and it was also really good. The wait staff was awesome as well de a place to visit
