Review Update
It wasn’t 2 hours after I posted my last review when I was contacted by the owner of the business, who apologized for the service I received at his shop and wanted the opportunity to make it right. I was very hesitant to do this because I’d already given them a second chance, but I’m so very glad I did. Not only did he correct the problem, he even took the time to give my vehicle a once over to make sure all noise was gone. I waited to update my original review until I drove around for a few days just to make the noise was gone, and it is.
This would have been a 5 star review, but the second trip prevents that. However, because of the professional and courteous service I received, I most definitely be a returning customer, but I would prefer that Skip doesn’t work on my vehicle.
Thank you Eric (the owner) for the fantastic customer service and for caring enough about your customers not to take their business for granted and reaching out to them when there’s an issue with the service they received from your staff.

I know nothing about cars. I’m the kind of person that just takes my car to the dealer and have them tell me what to do and what to fix. Needless to say car repairs intimidate me. So when my dad told me that I had to go to this shop, I was reluctant. I’m so glad I did!
First, the staff there are so professional, friendly and warm. I had the pleasure to interacting with both Brian and Jeremy. They both are nice, friendly and patient when I came to explain what I think I needed done. All my interactions with them were pleasant. Not once did I feel intimidated.
Also, what I like is that although I gave them a list of things my dealer told me to get done, they do their own inspections first. This helped me save a lot of money on work that I didn’t need to get done. So instead of paying for all new rotors and brake pads, they only did what was was needed. That honesty is great and appreciated.
Needless to say, they have a new regular customer.

I’ve used them on countless occasions, thanks to good reviews from my husband who has been a repeat customer for years. The prices are always reasonable and they are as quick as you can be with car repairs. I believe they aim to do a same-​day turnaround, which in my case, has always happened. I’ll always come back and have my car serviced there. They staff is super friendly and approachable.

I had a tire leak and needed it repaired at a reasonable price. Since I’m fairly new to the area and my regular mechanic is in Laurel, I went to my handy dandy « Unilocal» in search of a place to get my tire repaired and if their service is great I would consider also going to them for my other auto care needs. During this search, I came across a few other businesses who were over charging for a simple tire repair service. Then I came across this business, who had great reviews, and I was very happy with the initial phone call, service, price, and most importantly the honesty and professionalism that was shown. The other auto shops in the area need to follow suite because I was completely turned off by just the initial phone calls from other auto shops nearby.
This business opens at 7:30am on a first come first served basis, so I had planned on arriving at opening time but my 2yr old had other plans so I didn’t get there until about 8:10am. Upon entry, the waiting area was clean, had plenty of seats, and a TV. I was greeted pleasantly and was told that the waiting time would be between 1 – 1 ½ hrs due to that fact Friday morning was busy. After they took a look at my tire the service tech spoke with me about the problem and gave me all options that could be done to fix the problem; he was honest and didn’t try to convince me into getting something I didn’t need (my tire is less than a year old). He recommended I repair it, then went ahead and was done in less than 15mins.
This business has earned my respect and I plan on returning for future auto care needs. Highly recommend using their services.

I blew my tire this morning and came here after work for a new tire. I have never been in and out of a tire place so quickly. They were very nice, the work was done in less than a hour. The price they charged me for the tire and brake light was reasonable. The waiting area is clean and has free Wi-​Fi. I definitely will be heading back here again for future services.

After getting 4 new tires (best price around after calling several shops) the work was done in about 40 min, I was paying my bill and the young man drove my truck to the door, it was raining very hard, he told me the wiperblades are going bad and I said I would pick up new ones next time I go to Walmart, and before I could drive off, Jeremy was at door with 2 new ones telling me hold on. In less then a minute he had them on while he was getting poured on and told me «no charge, drive safe». I have had work done there before and this is why I keep coming back. Best shop in town!

Here’s all u need to know. I dropped my car off Friday night for an alignment. I went by at 9:30 am next day to talk to them and car was already done. Told me one of the tires tread was starting to ware because alignment was off. I was able to pick up car for a few days and they were ok with that. To top it off they didn’t even charge me for the tire rotation just the alignment. Brian at the front counter is excellent. My wife never has any problems or is taken advantage by this shop. So if she’s happy I’m happy. Go see Brian

These are my go to guys. Dumped my other guy two years ago and have long since abandoned crazy dealership prices.
Jeremy, Erich, Brian and the rest of the guys are the best! They have come through for me on many an occasion — including one time when my radiator sprung a major leak at 3p in afternoon. I was able to «limp» the car to them and they managed to order a replacement and install it before closing a few hours later. I was the last customer to leave at closing time, but they got it done!
Too many instances to name where they have come through for me (including today, in fact). These guys are always polite and honest. No overselling or upselling stuff you don’t need.
Their waiting room is clean, with a nice flat screen tv and a routinely clean bathroom. Comfortable surroundings matter to me since my car seems to always be there, lol.

I was waaayyy overdue for an oil change. Found this place on Unilocal and am so glad I came here. The oil changes are really $ 25! With synthetic oil! Brian is super nice, the place is clean, and I didn’t feel like I was about to be scammed (like «we changed your oil, but your engine is about to blow up, let us fix it»).
I’d definitely recommend this place. I’ll probably be back soon for an alignment because of these crappy Fort Washington streets.
They open at 7:30 and it’s first come first serve so get there early!

I find this shop really great, there friendly, knowledgeable, will not try to BS you into any upsale, you go in, they have a look, they tell you what your problem is, and fix it! No bs’ing around, needed to have front brakes done, they have no issues at all me bringing the parts when I go in!
And there prices are well maintained!
I have no problems referring them to any and all!

I came to Fort Washington tire pros and auto for the service I was truly disappointed I ordered a tire from this establishment they told me they had the tire waiting for me when I got to the company I was told it would take an hour to put on the tire I end up being there for three hours After three hours they told me it was the wrong tire size that they ordered and I needed to come back the next day I had already lost one day of pay. i came the next day. I sat for two more hours total 5hours for one tire. The mechanic said he would see about a discount, this did not happen. I left feeling not being regarded as a customer. The price of the tire 154 I was told 129.00 initially. And I lost 2 days pay. This tire for one Nexen tire ended up costing me 300.00 dollars. This is not good business and at this point I would not want to return. Very poor service and being busy should not be a excuse. I spoke to the. ManagerEric whom made me feel it was my fault. And he didn’t offer any remedies for keeping a customer who I had given him business in the past! Two thumbs down

Fort Washington auto body has fast and awesome service! They took care of me fast in a hurry with my Acura TL! I recommend this place if anyone wants fast and great service! :)

This is based on one major service that was done in November 2014. I own a 2005 Lexus RX330, that required an extensive amount of work according to the Lexus Dealership. I reviewed the Lexus dealership proposed work plan with FWTA and they provided an estimate that was approximately $ 800 cheaper for the proposed repair items. During the repair, FWTA IDENTIFIED one item that simply required a new clamp. This item saved an additional $ 250 off the bill. Total difference in the proposed work plan was $ 1000.00. So far, the car has operated without problems.

After the good Unilocal reviews I decided to stop in here for an oil/​filter change. I was not disappointed. Only $ 25, and very courteous service. Although there were many people in front of me, I still left in about an hour, not bad at all.

Love this place!!! Always friendly and work hard to get things done quickly. One time I came in with something in my tire and they didn’t charge me for the service because I’m a regular. Really good people !

I’ve had a few wheel alignments done and more than a dozen wheels and tires mounted here without any issues. I know Erich from when he was always fixing my father’s cars for years when he was originally at Fort Washington Shell so I trust his expertise when he expanded here. His customer service and honesty is great. Jeremy as well is right up there. The crew members have always been careful in not scratching up my wheels when mounting tires. I cannot give 5 them stars yet because I haven’t had any other services done. I do all the other maintenance myself on my cars, but they would be the first tire and suspension shop I’d go to if I couldn’t make the time to get under the car.

Ft. Washington Tire & Auto is an exceptional repair shop that takes pride in what they do. We’ve been taking our vehicles to them for a few years now for anything that ranges from routine maintenance to new tires to brakes and every time the work is always performed in a timely manner at an exceptional price. Above all, customer service is honest! All work is fully explained, priced and options are provided when available so we are always kept in the loop. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and always do a fantastic job the first time around. You just can’t go wrong with Ft. Washington Tire & Auto Center since they always go Above & Beyond.

Great place, Best tire shop! The guys are professional, so helpful, and prices are reasonable. I am so glad that I checked Unilocal and saw the good reviews on this tire shop. I got a flat tire from a nail and I thought I would have to pay for a new tire but they told me ALL my options. They said I could get a new tire if I wanted to but that they could patch it for a lot less cause the tread was still good on the tire. They were straight to the point and didn’t try to rip me off. They fixed it so quick in less than 30 minutes. Big 5 stars! I’ll definitely return to this place for an oil change in the next week! Only $ 25!!! The guys were so helpful and didn’t give me the run around! Great service!

I am very satisfied with the level of service I’ve received here. This is my one-​stop-​shop for my cars and the prices are fair.

These guys are very courteous and friendly. I usually take my car here for $ 25 oil changes. I recently had the misfortune of getting a flat tire out on 295. My tire jack broke and I had to call roadside assistance. When they came out, they got my spare on and it went flat. By the time a tow truck came out and got me, it had been 5 hours of being stranded on the side of 295, 6PM (closing time) was approaching. When we arrived in the tow truck, it was past 6 and the guys of Fort Washington Tire and Auto Center were still working. They graciously took my keys and told me they’d get to it first thing in the morning.
The next day I woke up to my phone ringing and it was them. They were in the process of getting my new tire and getting my car on the road. The service here is really great. I highly recommend them.
