Great location but the marina is in serious need of upkeep. The marina is very close to National Harbor, probably less than 8 miles by boat. When you first arrive, the first thing you notice is that the gravel parking lot is in serious need of leveling out. Be careful if you have a low riding car, such as a sports car. Although I don’t own a boat, I’m considering buying one. One of the considerations will be where to berth it. I’ve been to this marina several times and I always note how old the piers look as well as the fact that most of the boats are obviously older models. There seem to be very few newer model boats berthed there. One has to ask: Why don’t newer boats dock here?
