They are terrible! They are rude and have an attitude problem, actually the red headed lady is the worst one there! She is nonchalant, rude, and careless! If something is wrong at the apartment they won’t come out and fix it until you call up there 10 times! I had a leak in my roof and it started molding and they didn’t fix it until 2 months later after I called about it. There was mold on the window and I got bronchitis because of it. And they are unreasonable with rent. I was unemployed for 2 months! I had one month left on my lease and I couldn’t come up with the money quick enough. I tried working out a payment plan with them that would work with and them and they still wanted to kick my wife and I out! I’ve never been late on rent and I was going to pay the last rent in full when I got the money but they weren’t willing to work with me! Also when I first moved in they didn’t have the place cleaned and ready for me to move in! Don’t rent here they are terrible!

Dont rent from Progressive Management unless you enjoy living in total squalor! These people are the biggest slum lords of the Gulf Coast. Billfish Apts were the most disgusting place Ive ever lived. The tenants were all drug addicts, who stayed up making noise til 4 a. m EVERY NIGHT of the week. Every Saturday night at 3 a. m you could count on the Sheriff Depts lights shining in your window. The A/​C went out on me 3 times during the dead of summer. They did not even come out to fix it for over a week EVERY time. I had to stay with friends because the apartment was so hot, I could barely breathe. They did not offer me a window unit or money off my rent, just pathetic excuses like «Sorry, our A/​C guy is fixing a bath tub today.» One day when he came out, he left in the middle of the repair, with the cover off the A/​C and a can of coke just sitting on top of it. Never came back! The next thing I had to endure was an epic cock roach infestation, that they also refused to take care of! It was so bad I nearly called the Health Dept on them. The roaches finally went away when the weather got cold. The washer/​dryers are always broken, but still take your money. Probably took over $ 20 in quarters from me despite it being broken. I had to haul my laundry to my brothers house every week to have clean clothes. SICK! Additionally, they had the GAUL to keep my security deposit for damages like a broken towel bar which was hanging by a thread to begin with (3 dry wall patches in a row, yet somehow I am responsible), one of the neighbors stored junk and trash near my doorway, they just allowed this. I saw that the rent to this place is almost up to $ 600 now, I would rather be homeless or live in my car than live in such a dump. Being close to the beach was the one and only good thing about this place. I cant believed I honored this lease only for them to screw me over. Also, the electric bill for a tiny 1 bedroom should not be $ 150. Dont live here, youll regret it.
