My’s Alterations

Please save yourself the heartbreak of taking anything important to you to My’s Alterations! I took my wedding dress to her on September 8^th and she promised I could pick it up on October 15^th. My wedding day was October 24^th. On October 15^th her shop was closed. October 16^th her shop was closed. I went next door to the barber shop to ask where she was and they told me she went out of town. Absolutely no notice to me! They told me I could go to her family members business and asked where she was. I did go there and left a message with her family member that she needed to call me immediately. Apparently she had taken a vacation to California! I waited all weekend for her call and it never came! Monday the 19^th my fiancé and I went to her shop. She was 45 minutes late opening. She hadn’t even started working on my dress! Not only that, but she was hateful to us because we were upset. My fiancé expressed our disappointment and told her that the dress needed to be ready the next day. She mocked him! I couldn’t believe what I had seen! I didn’t want to leave my dress there! My fiancé insisted that we let her redeem herself. Big mistake! She called me 4 hours later and said the dress was done. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I picked the dress up! She had absolutely ruined it! She ripped the entire back out and put laces without even enlarging the waist of the dress! Thank goodness Joy’s Alterations fixed the dress for me only two days before my wedding. Joys alterations did an amazing job and she treated me with the utmost respect! I never write reviews but I really want you to never take anything to My’s alterations! She is a crook! She is ruthless and heartless! I plan on suing her, reporting her to the BBB and doing everything in my power to make sure she never does this to another person! I wouldn’t even have given her a star at all in her rating, but that’s the only way you can post!
