Full Circle Gallery

Really nice hidden gem! Worth the short drive off the strip. Several local artists offer pieces for sale as well as classes for adults and children. They offer a pottery night for adults.

I work for Amavida Coffee in Santa Rosa Beach and buy handmade mugs from Mercedes at Full Circle Gallery. We’ve featured her art in our Rosemary Beach café twice now and, on the last exhibit, sold every single item! Mercedes is a joy to work with and so pleasant to be around. Not to mention, her work is incredible! Highly recommended.

The Little and I came here for a family pottery class on Saturday afternoon and we were really looking forward to trying our hands at the pottery wheel. The class was small — we were joined by a mom and her three kids.
Mercedes began the class by demonstrating how to make a vase using the wheel. She made it look easy but we could all tell that it wasn’t. Still, we each got a lump of clay, centered it on the wheel and began.
Unfortunately, my first effort started to resemble a toilet more than a vase and I had to start over. Fortunately, Mercedes was a patient and attentive instructor and made sure we each created at least one piece each that we were happy with. (The pieces will be glazed, fired and ready for pick up in about two weeks.)
I left just frustrated enough that I can’t wait to come back and try it again.
