Pizza is good but we must not be perceived as regulars or wanted customers. The many times we have gone here, unless we were sitting at the bar, we are almost all but ignored. Even when I have taken my elderly parents the service was slow and then almost nothing. We generally go for pizza at the many other places nearby that want our business.

Good food but very limited seating. Not kid friendly and service is very slow at times. Not alot of room and you feel cramped. Owner is friendly but don’t get offended when you see him grad a handful of a server’s rear. Guess that’s how they say hello in Ireland.

It’s a small tavern. But the food was very good and the waitress was very friendly. I plan to return in the future.

The pizza here was pretty good — we got the Meat Lovers. Beer selection is not super impressive if you’re into craft beers. The menu said they had Kentucky Bourbon Barrel on draft, which I was excited about, but it turns out they didn’t. The biggest drawback here is that they allow smoking inside, which I do not enjoy. Our server wasn’t very friendly either.

We love this local spot. The beer is cold and the drinks are reasonably priced. The wings are really great, but the rest of the food is average. The daily deals are also really great. Karaōke Friday’s are really fun.

Food is excellent. Drink prices are decent, bucket of beer for 10 bucks. Burger Thursdays is a WIN. Service can be slow at times Breakfast is awesome but slow service and watch the ketchup.

The pizza is so fabulous, my favorite is the Mediterranean — it is top notch. We do not get pizza as much anymore because it tends to get pricey to feed more than two people. I have dropped over $ 50 on two large specialty and one small cheese pizza before at the Tavern. Every once in a while, I just have to get a Mediterranean though. It is great.

They have great sandwiches! I recommend the steak hoagy with pizza sauce. So good! Only setback is it’s a little pricey for the size of the sandwich. Also, no sides with the entrée purchase price. I’ve never eaten inside, only take out, so I’ve never actually been in the restaurant, but I hear that it is super smokey and loud so be careful of that.

This little bar/restaurant is nestled in the heart of Fort Thomas. After hearing great reviews from local residents, I decided to try one evening on a weeknight. I was pleasantly surprised! The beer selection is your usual domestic, import, and a couple local beers. You can even get a large frosty mug to drink out of. The pretzel breadsticks with cheese are so delicious, and I have tried several hoagies which were all great! Prices are extremely reasonable, and the staff was very friendly. Downside is the inside is cramped and smells of cigarette smoke, so I prefer take out or sitting outside in warmer months.

Cheese hoagie are great. Been around for years. Pizza is average. In last couple years more a tavern with cheap beers.

I have given FTP a go twice now. My first instance wasn’t so great, with an unnattentive waitress that seemed to be in a bad mood and a customer that complained very loudly about the music I had selected from the jukebox(I wont hold that against FTP, especially since one of the workers offered to increase the volume for me). The pizza the first time around was just ‘meh’ typical bar pizza. The second time around all the waitresses and bartenders were very attentive and I was out in a quick minute. The pizza was still meh. I consider myself a bit of a pizza connoisseur so if I am going to spend 16 $ on a pizza I’ll go to a place doing something different or a bit more eclectic. They also allow smoking inside and even as a smoker I still find it gross.

Since moving to Northern Kentucky, I have been on a mission to find the best pizza in the area. I’ve recently made significant progress on achieving this goal, but NOT because of Fort Thomas Pizza & Tavern. In fact, on sheer pizza quality alone, I would say Fort Thomas Pizza falls short of most competitors(I can’t think of any that I’ve had that are worse) in the region relative to all major categories(toppings, crust and sauce). I was really excited to give this place a try after reading reviews — I really was. After making not one, but numerous attempts to see if was a «me issue», I’m convinced I have a pretty good read on Fort Thomas Pizza — it’s not very good at all — period. Setting pizza aside, parking is always an issue, seating inside away from smoke is difficult to find, and the staff is far from kind(they were to other tables, but not ours).

Great pizza! Lunch specials offer great food at a good price. Went with friends twice, once for pizza once for a steak hoagie. Both were great. Good service and made it fast so we could get to the ball game.

People in our neighborhood like this place and I’m not sure why. We went on a Friday night at 5 for a drink and early dinner. Long story short bar tenders were short staffed and mad about it! Ever head of bitching resting face? The waitress had it. She was so rude by slamming beers in the garbage can, inattentive, and rude. FTP was ok at best. Too many other good places in the area to waste your time here. If you are busy and pissed about something at least smile at your customers because it’s not my fault! Don’t waste your time or money with this place.

I can’t say anything about the pizza. I never ate any. I walked in and was hit with more smoke then I have smelled in a very long time. Walked right back out. I was inside for maybe 10 seconds and I smelled like smoke when I got back in the car. Can’t give the place accurate star rating but just be warned about the smoke. It’s pretty bad.

One of the best pizzas in the city. Very good salads too! Everything here is very cheesy(as in mozzarella cheesy not corny!). I placed a carry out order(2 salads) by walking into the restaurant, and was told by the waitress they were very busy and it would be 2 hours until my order was ready. I left without placing the order, and after deciding we would patiently wait, we called to place the order. Five minutes after my original order, they said it would be a 20 minute wait! Long story short… my advice is to step outside and place your order over the phone… it’ll arrive MUCH faster!

Damn fine pie. Just off of south 275. Yum. The service is fast and friendly and the pizza is yummy. I suggest the Pizza Bombay or the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza(I would tell them to go lite on the BBQ sauce though). I travel to many different cities as a art fair artist and am always looking out for great pizza. A friend and I Unilocaled this place last year and gave it a try. I have been looking forward to going back ever since. The crust is excellent and they have some very unique takes on pizza. Different pies like the Pizza Bombay or just unusual variations on classic themes(the Mediterranean with orange slices). The only things keeping it from a 5 star are the smoking(definitely sit outside if it bothers you) and the place is a bit divey. Which I am generally fine with, but the smoking kills the magic. Certainly worth a try.

As a pizza lover I have to say that I really like their selection of ‘less than ordinary’ pizzas. I’m a fan of their Pizza Bombay, the curry could have been a little more bold in the sauce for me, but it was yummy nonetheless. I always get my pizza to go from here… so I can’t speak about a dine-in experience. I will say that it’s a ‘must try’ on a pizza lovers to do list.
