Business Owner

Sarah Howe (AIA, LEED AP) is an interior architect at Sarah Howe Interior Design in Fort Smith.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas, in 1978, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville, in 1981. She’s been a registered architect since 1983.

She’s involved in community organizations that include the Downtown Rotary Club, Fort Smith Junior League, Leadership Fort Smith, Class of 1988, Sparks Guild and Pi Beta Phi, and is a board member of the Bonneville House Association.

Completed projects include the Student Center at NorthWest Arkansas Community College, in Bentonville, Ark.; the United States Attorney Office in Fort Smith; the Boreham Training Center at Baldor Electric in Fort Smith; the Dental Clinic for Steve Wilson in Fort Smith; the Coca-​Cola office renovation in Fort Smith; Ardmore Fitness Center, Ardmore, Okla.; and multiple renovations for First Baptist Church
