Raised in Florida in the fifties and submerged into the saline crystal clear blue waters of Biscayne Bay at a young age I soon discovered boating was simply a state of mind and a way of life. If we weren’t water skiing we were fishing or diving. Spear fishing, getting conch, and lobstering in the Florida Keys and Bahamas was fantastic back then. Given a dime store compass and a chart we cruised the islands long before GPS was ever invented.
