I used to be a huge fan of this place until this afternoon. The empty parking lot lack of the usual after-church rush should have been my first clue. First, the salsa that used to be so delicious tasted old. Then, the waitress wouldn’t leave us alone for more than 2 or three minutes asking if we needed anything. It went well past the point of overly annoying. The waitress returned with my wife’s food and asked«that’s what you ordered… Right?» I always order a combination #5, one chicken enchilada and one cheese enchilada with flour tortilla and NO enchilada sauce. When my food arrived it was swimming in enchilada sauce. I politely told the waitress«oh, this has enchilada sauce on it.» She then had the audacity to argue with me that I didn’t say anything about no enchilada sauce. This coming from the same woman who took my wife’s order, took my order, then took my wife’s order a 2nd time because she didn’t get it the first time. And to put the icing on this horrible cake, all of the food was cold. It is so sad to see what was once a great restaurant take such a bad turn. We will certainly never be back and I urge everyone to stay away from this place! If they keep this same type service up, they’ll be out of business in no time. I just hope some great place moves in after they’re closed.

This was my first visit to Casa Amigos last week. I’m front out of town and I went with a relative who lives in Fort O. I was not impressed with the salsa, it needs some more spices it was just too soupy and tomato paste like. We also ordered queso with jalapenos, the jalapenos were very chunky and large, and not cut into little slices like most Mexican restaurants. The beer prices were pretty decent, $ 3.50 for a 32 oz of Dos Equis. The food was decent, the staff seemed friendly.

My wife and I were in the mood for Mexican and saw a 4.5 star rating and thought we would give this place a try. We were both disappointed. The staff were friendly and nice, but the food wasn’t very good. I had the fajitas per a recommendation and they were not seasoned very well and the tortillas were warm but were also very dry. My wife had«a pile of meat with a pepper on it» that was supposed to be a chili relleno. She asked for a tostada instead and was given a pile of beans with some queso on a half-cooked corn tortilla. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want to have some diarrhea afterwards.

The salsa was amazing! It had just the right amount of heat and seasoning. In truth, everything was seasoned to perfection! We had the chicken chimichanga, Pollo loco, and casa salad. All three dishes were great and the service was awesome. We will definitely be back!

Great food. Great staff. Reasonable prices. Would bring family for diner or friends for fun. If you don’t see exactly what you want on menu they will try to make you a custom meal to hit that spot.
