At Messina Children’s Center, we specialize in early childhood education for children ages 1 — 8 years. Our main goal is helping preschool aged children to learn through exploration and finding out what excites them, so that we can tap into that potential.

For example, children learn best when they are playing and having fun. When we find out what games/​sports they like to play most, we infuse an educational element into the activity so that they learn something new in the process.

History

Established in 1998.

Our parent company, Child Care of Southwest Florida, Inc. SM (CCSWFL) has been providing services to children, families, and child care professionals in Southwest Florida for over 40 years.

Messina Children’s Center was first licensed in 1998.

Manager

Since 1993 I have worked with Child Care of SW Fl and the children and families of our community. Our community gardens and natural playscape project was a perfect fit for me. I enjoy engaging children, parents, and staff in our gardening endeavors and bringing our indoor classrooms outdoors. I have two grown children and I am a very proud grandmother!
