History

Established in 1986.

Fleamasters was created to be a festive marketplace that brings buyers and sellers together. 100s & 100s of unique small shops combine for an old world bazaar feel.

The Pavilion addition was added in 1992. The Music Hall opened in 2008, with a down-home country show starring our own Bobby Slaughter and the Country Classics Band. The Music Hall offers live music and dance shows during peak shopping season, Oct. — April.

Fleamasters’ hosted its first Watermelon and Pumpkin Festivals in 2010. These annual events offer an exhibition area, live music, games and clowns. Plus new surprises every year!

In 2012, Fleamasters installed 4,200 solar panels on the gently sloped roofs. On sunny days, the panels provide 1.2 megawatts of power.

Over 28,700 people have rented space at Fleamasters. As many as 2,000 people are employed here at the 100s of small stores. About 1.4 million shoppers visit Fleamasters each year. Fleamasters is owned and operated by the same family that founded it.
