Connors Steak & Seafood

Tried this restaurant 3 times and not had a good experience yet. Wait staff is good, but food delivered cold or not at all. First visit, salads never came. Main course, Salmon was raw and room temp. Second visit saw dinner under heat lamps for 10 – 12 minutes before delivered. Third visit same delay, under lamps way too long. Meat over cooked and french fry’s warm at best.
Try this place off season if you want. Avoid prime time.

Great place for a steak! Went there with a large group and the service was amazing. Very attentive and kept our glasses full. Food was amazing. We had the shrimp cocktail to start and they were jumbo and tasty. For dinner we both had the blue cheese filet with asparagus and a strawberry and spinach salad to start. Salad was very tasty with blue cheese, walnuts and a sweet vinaigrette dressing. The filet was melt in your mouth at medium rare and cooked just right. The asparagus was also very tasty and not over-​cooked. They have some in-​house made ice cream and the blueberry was to die for!
Great atmosphere and amazing food — you won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I love coming to Connors each time we are in Fort Myers. Great fish and steaks each time.

Classy but casual atmosphere. Good selection of seafood, steaks, burgers, salads.
I had Shrimp & Grits entrée’. Nothing like you’d get in the ‘low county’ of Ga. & South Carolina, but just as tasty. Highly recommend.
Wife had 7 oz sirloin. As with all sirloin, a bit ‘chewy’ because of lack of any fat. Very tasty @ done to perfection.
They originated in Tenn.
Service was excellent. Décor reminded me of Cheddar’s. Stone, dark wood, glass.
Give them a shot.

I just ate there with two of my co workers and my little sister. We were having a birthday celebration. We made reservations and thank god for that because it got pretty busy. When we were walking out there was a huge line. I love the setting of the restaurant. Lights were dim. It wasn’t cold like most restaurants.
Okay so they started us off with bread and oil which was really good. The bread was fresh and delicious. For an appetizer i had a crab cake and i loved it. Its been a while since i had a really good tasting crab cake. Good job to the chef lol. For my meal I ordered the Grilled Chicken Pasta which was PERFECT. The only thing is i didn’t know that there would be mushrooms in the pasta so i had to take the time to pick them out, but i didnt mind. I wanted to order dessert but i was soooo full from the bread and water that was doing served
I wish i remembered our waiters name. She treated us very well and she was really funny. I would definitely come back again.
My meal was about 15 $ and some change
Oh yess! When its your birthday they give you cake and ice cream with a lit candle. It was so nice and pretty.

We were invited by Paul one of the waiters at Connor’s Steak & Seafood We met Paul at Hooters watching a Football game.
Paul mentioned that he works at Connor’s and said you guys should stop by and check us out because we have the best steaks around. Well say no more we stopped and had dinner there and all of us that we’re in our group said that that was by far the best steaks we have ever had! So thanks Paul! We will defiantly stop in again when we return to Fort Myers. Also what was really cool is you can watch the cooks grill your Steak! The Atmosphere there was incredible and very very clean. Over the top great staff!

My business partner and his wife along with my wife where in town for our franchise convention. I let him pick the restaurant where the four of us went to dinner. What a big mistake. From the outside, Connors looked like a fairly typical strip mall, free standing restaurant. The place was attractive. The hostess greeted us promptly and we were seated right on time. Our waitress was pleasant. Our cocktails were good.
It was a Wednesday night and, for some reason, the place was slammed. All the waitresses were standing near the kitchen waiting for food to come out. The kitchen was SLOW! Our waitress never came back to the table after our appetizers to check on us as she was waiting for her food to come out. We sat there with empty glasses for at least 20 minutes… frustrating! Now this place boasts steak on their menu. My wife ordered her steak medium rare and it was medium well. I urged her to send it back. This place is pretty darn expensive. For a steakhouse to not cook a steak properly is inexcusable even if they were busy. My wife just doesn’t send food back so… but I was not happy either. I ordered the creamy shrimp and grits… horrible! There was nothing creamy about the grits which were scooped with an ice cream scoop. They were on the dry side and not very flavorful as well as the shrimp. The shrimp were cooked well but had absolutely no seasoning. The sausage was overwhelming. It threw the dish out of proportion. My partner enjoyed his steak but he eats anything. His wife ordered the shrimp scampi and hated it. She barely ate any of it; over cooked linguine and unseasoned shrimp swimming in a sea of olive oil… pretty gross to look at and, based on her comments, pretty gross to eat. When the waitress FINALLY came around to ask how we were doing, we said we were done. The waitress did ask if we wanted to box the scampi. My partner’s wife said, «No way.» Now you think after running up a $ 300 bill, the waitress might ask if there was a problem. I wanted her to take it off the bill but the waitress just took the plate away.
Connors is really expensive for what it is. There have got to be better places in town than Connors. I felt ripped off and pretty much ignored. The next day, my wife and I had better grits at The Waffle House for breakfast than the two baseball sized portions that I had here. Do yourself a favor and save some money and go somewhere else.

There today for lunch for the first time with friends. VERY reasonable for the generous portions you get. And everyone enjoyed what they had. No complaints at all. The restaurant is inviting. The staff and service excellent. And of course the food was great! The 7 oz. lunch portion sirloin steak was delicious! Ordered three sides, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and a salad. The side Lobster Bisque was also VG!!! Others enjoyed immensely the prime rib sandwich, grilled salmon, the Boursin Burger. (Pictures may not do it justice) The two desserts we shared were the Bananas Foster and the Chocolate Mousse cake with Chocolate Ganache. May have to ask them to make the coffee hotter and ask for cream on the side. (Instead of skim milk) you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to get back there again over the next three months. Enjoy!!!

Quite possibly the best meal I have every eaten at any restaurant I have patronized. I had the salmon with grilled asparagus and a baked potato. Everything was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was very attentive, and their wine knowledge was impressive.

Megan is THE best server, make sure you request her. Very knowledgeable about the steaks and the wine list.

I have eaten here several times out of convenience. Its not bad, it’s just not good. It id overpriced for the quality of food and service. I know some people really like it but, I only go when I am in the area and that place is picked out by a friend.
I sure wished they would up the food quality!!! It would make a big difference.

Thirteen of us went to Conners for lunch after a round of golf.
The maître de seated us promptly by combined several tables in the backroom. The drinks and beers flow quickly.
They have an interesting lunch menu, you can have sandwich and others for $ 9, $ 10, $ 11 and $ 12 while the house drinks and tap beers are half-​priced until 4 PM.
We ordered prime rib sandwiches, Fish ‘n’ Chips, Spicy Fish Tacos, Smokey Burgers, Grilled Chicken Salad and among others.
My $ 12 prime rib sandwich was perfectly done. The baked potato was stuffed with sour cream, beacon and chess. With a horse relish on the prime rib, it is very satisfying meal! Spicy Fish Tacos was excellent and the burgers were great!
However, I did get one complaint out of two orders about the Fish ‘n’ Chips little on doughy side. Not surprised, he always complaint about doughy Fish ‘n’ Chips in every restaurant we went.
The wait staff was attentive.
We have a great group lunch and will return again! Perhaps have Shrimp & Cheese Grits instead of prime rib!

My family and I went to Conners for dinner. This was my first visit, however my Dad & Stepmom had visited this location on many occasions. We were staying at Fort Myers Beach, so this location was s little further out than we normally travel for dining while in vacation, but my Dad insisted on it. We arrived in time for the evenings 2 for 1 happy hour. I have to say, the staff while eager to greet us at the door didn’t seem to have the same eagerness for taking out drink orders. After drinks, we proceeded to our table. We started a meal with the Fire Grilled Pork Belly and Calamari. The Pork Belly was my favorite item I ate during this visit. For my meal, I ordered the 12 oz Prime Rib. I ordered Medium Rare, however it was cooked closer to a medium. It was my choice not to send it back. The steak was good, but I’ve had better. My wife had the lobster bisque for dinner and said it was excellent.
Overall I gave this experience a 3 out of 5 stars. The meal was good, but not great. Based on the pork belly, I’ll consider giving this establishment another taste.

Nothing special and not that great.
We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell. This was the best part of the meal. They cleaned them up good and they tasted great. One of the only reasons I am giving this 3 stars.
I ordered the ribeye for my meal. While the flavor wasn’t bad, I couldn’t continue eating it. It had so much cartilage or tough fat in every bite. Basically every bite hard to chew and getting that cartilage stuck in my teeth.
The service was also slow. I won’t go back, but if you go here stick to the oysters.

Thought we would give Connors a try since we had seafood and non-​seafood people in our group. Really glad we did, we had a wonderful meal and great service.
We ordered appetizers: jumbo shrimp cocktails and fried green tomatoes. The shrimp were truly jumbo and the cocktail sauce had a nice horseradish kick without being overpowering. The fried green tomatoes came with two gravies and cheesy grits. The gravies were okay, one was a little spicy and the grits were the best ever for me.
The strawberry and spinach salads were fresh and tasty. The lobster and crab bisque was creamy, with a nice amount of meat.
I ordered the Boursin filet with asparagus. It was excellent, the steak was melt in your mouth tender and perfectly cooked. The Boursin and onion rings were a great touch. The asparagus was grilled, tender and flavorful. One of my companions ordered salmon with the garlic mashed potatoes, also perfectly prepared.
We ordered desserts: peach ice cream, crème brûlée, and strawberry shortcake. The crème brûlée was very good, normal portion. The other two were huge, too much for one person. The strawberry shortcake was really a pound cake with a hint of lemon, very tasty. The peach ice cream was great with big chunks of peach.
All orders were prepared exactly as ordered, including special requests. The staff worked together as a team, making sure our food was delivered hot and fresh. We were very impressed with how well they took care of us. This was a great dining experience.

Wow talk about a great dinning experience!!! Our sever Caleb was WONDERFUL! Literally from the time he greeted my son and I till the time we left, our experience was wonderful.
We arrived around 4pm just before the dinner rush and was greeted by our server Caleb who informed me of their happy hour (yaaay can’t beat a good deal on cocktails). I ordered a cocktail while my son had a lemonade. Didn’t realize they had so many favors of lemonade (mango, raspberry, pomegranate) lol.
We started with the lobster bisque soup, a cesar salad. Not to mention we had their fabulous tasting pesto sauce/​oil and bread. We both order the filet mignon; My son’s was a 6oz topped with shrimp scampi with a side of fries and mine was a in 9oz topped with mushrooms and a side of mashed potatoes. I must say our steaks were extremely flavorful and tasty and did I mention cooked perfectly (medium rare). I wasn’t a fan of the mashed potatoes, I kept eating them (single bites and some with steak) trying to figure out what that different taste was and it was exactly what I figured but hoped I was wrong. Looks like they add horseradish sauce to there mash. Although Caleb did suggested next time for me to get them loaded so it would even out the taste.
Well we were too stuffed from dinner to eat dessert, so again again Caleb suggested a dessert to go, and what do know, that’s exactly what we did. We order the chocolate mousse cake to go. A few hours later my son and I were able to enjoy the dessert and wow it was scrumptious. Or as he says «Omg mom that was absolutely delish) I’ll definitely be ordering another dessert something this week.
I want to thank you for the outstanding customer service and great dinning experience you have us this late afternoon. You were very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive our needs.

I stopped by Connors for lunch on my way to the airport. I was seated promptly, despite a full parking lot. My waiter, Alex P., was attentive and didn’t excellent job throughout the meal.
I was pleasantly surprised by the prices on the lunch menu. There were multiple choices at 10, 11, and $ 12 price points. It being a steakhouse, I selected the 7 ounce sirloin with a loaded baked potato. I added a bowl of their lobster crab bisque and a iced tea bringing the total tab to $ 20. In addition they provided a nice fresh loaf of bread.
The bowl of soup arrived promptly, and was excellent. The steak was cooked as ordered and had a nice smoky flavor. The loaded baked potato was also very good.
I will return and will recommend it to friends.
