History

Established in 2012.

Erick Lopez has been an entrepreneur for 15 years, owning a painting and service business while doing creative work on the side. He decided to blend his passion for art with the public’s need/​desire for quality projects that are unique to each person, household, or business. His vision was to use his art to showcase the illusions and ideas of his clients in a customized design — and this, Art Illusions & Design was born!

Business Owner

Erick Lopez, owner and local artist brings a lifetime of artistic experience with 15 years in business to suit your design needs. His artwork has been part of shows at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center and his talent can be found in homes and business all over the southwest Florida area including Sarasota, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Marco Island, Sanibel and Naples. Erick recently was awarded «The People’s Choice Award» for his piece «Playing With Color,» by gaining the most votes from visitors through the art exhibit.

Erick has this very unique ability to look at an empty or less-​than-​appeasing space and design very functional and visually beautiful pieces and/​or spaces. He is able to create exactly what you want — or sometimes, come up with something that you didn’t even know you wanted, or were not able to fully describe in words. He is able to not only understand the visions of his customers, but create them. His talent is invaluable.
