Beach’n Place

I had a Groupon deal for this place…2 nights + necessary beach supplies for $ 200. I’m not sure how much of a deal this was but I needed an excuse to get away from New York for the weekend. Check-​in consisted of calling the agent the day of our arrival and picking up the key under the doormat. The door was not really secure. Anyone could have effortlessly kicked the door in. Our bungalow was clean except for the refrigerator (it could have used a good scrub). I had no issues with the air conditioning but we did vacation in late October so the temperature was quite mild. The unit contained all the kitchen essentials except for a microwave. They only provide you with enough toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap for one night. I wish there had been another set of bath towels. The rental was simple and located within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Hurricane Sandy made a small appearance so were not able to take advantage of the beach amenities like the chairs, cooler, and umbrella. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.
