After many people mentioned this place, I thought it was about time I checked it out. I love the entry area when you walk in the Drawbridge. Walking in to Josh’s has a different feel than the entry way or the rest of the medieval themed hotel. I guess it was a tavern feel. Have you ever felt a tavern?
We had the place to ourselves. I’m guessing when they have conventions they are a lot busier than today. It was nice to pick any seat and have the server to ourselves. She was very accommodating. After she mentioned the specials of the day, we were curious about the red clam chowder. She offered to bring us a sample. Presentation was nice and so was the chowder. Then I had the cod. It was good.
