History

Established in 1996.

Dean Lowder, founder of Perimeter Security Systems, has always had a passion for commercial security. This desire to protect small businesses and their assets led him to establish a guard dog leasing company in the 1980s. Dean’s guard dog company quickly grew to one of the largest of its kind in the country.

With a mind for entrepreneurship and invention, Dean began brainstorming other methods for securing property. He created an electrified fence system in the early 90s, and he found that his design was so effective and unique that he began offering the system in place of guard dogs to his current customers. The system was met with glowing reviews from business owners which led to the founding of Perimeter Security Systems in 1996.
