called Lees on a Thurs for service, they kept putting me off, promised me a service call on saturday. I waited all day, finally at 4:30 pm i called and the tech told me he had just woken up and that he had pneumonia but he would come on over. i told him dont bother, i will use another company from now on. with a high of 40 tomorrow and a wasted saturday waiting for them i could never recommend this company to anyone

When our AC wasn’t working at the end of last summer, I noticed the coil was leaking Freon. Lee’s came out, gave me an estimate for replacing it and pumped enough Freon into the system to get us through the summer. I thought the price for replacing the coil was a little high, so I called other places. All of them were asking about the unit and none of them had seen it. I knew it was ok and Lee’s confirmed that. I called Lee’s back and they came out and replaced the coil. There was also a bad capacitor on the unit that they replaced without charge. They are nice people. The prices are a little high, but they are local and they will not sell you anything you don’t need.

May be good at what they do but will leave you hanging. Called on a Friday and said he could make it Saturday afternoon. Told him that was fine I’d be home anytime after 12. Waited and waited. Finally called at 4 and left him a message. Never received a return call that day or any day after. Poor customer service.

I was pleased with the service, but their answering service is pretty terrible, and it was difficult to get a call back, even when I reached a tech directly – that’s where they lost a star.
We have a slow leak that requires a recharge every few years or so, and it took us a while to realize that the bigger firms in the area have a lot more salespeople than service techs.
At least 3 other technicians and a supervisor from big firms told us that our compressor was shot, the core was bad, and we would need a new unit on our less than 10 year old home. A friend who works in the business confided that service techs for the big firms earn an embarrassingly low hourly wage, and don’t love going in attics to troubleshoot small problems. On the flip side, if they can convince you to get a new unit, they pocket a several hundred dollar commission, and they won’t have to set foot in your attic, since that falls to the «install crew.»
Needless to say, we were glad to finally get a Lee’s tech out to our house, since there were no games – just ice cold air.
We would definitely use Lee’s again.
