This place was great! We showed up as they we’re closing and didn’t realize, they still took us in and did a great job. Very nice and willing to wait for my nails to dry again after they were supposed to close. I will become a regular here seeing as I just moved into the area.

Nice staff, great service, pretty and clean. Good location, you can get lunch or coffee and your nails all at once.

This is my absolute favorite place for a Pedi. I always get the deluxe which costs 40 $ ad includes a hot stone massage. Been going here for almost 3 years. I don’t do manis only pedis. What I love: for the most part the pedis are always consistent and last the longest I’ve ever seen. I had a pedi this past January and no joke it only had minor chips. Uh that was 4 months ago! Typically I go every 6 to 8 weeks. Love the chairs and it’s always very clean. The staff is quiet which I rather like, but they know me and always ask about my family and job. What I DONOT love: Yes it is kind of pricey. Places I’ve gone in the past charge about 30 or 35 for the same service. I have had one time where one person was rushing. I spoke up and said«I am getting the deluxe right?» And she Slowed down. They should have a no cell phone policy. I can’t stand coming in to relax and the person next to me is jabbering away. Annoying. But since they do a great job I’m completely happy and highly recommend.

I was a first time client and went on a Sunday afternoon for a basic manicure and polish. I went strictly because it was convenient and I was in the area at the time. The staff was relatively nice — however I was not impressed with the quality of the manicure. Some of my nails were filed crooked and 2 of my nails had polish that were smudged(not of my own doing). I probably won’t be going back here again — and if I did I would not use the same manicurist.

This is a nice salon in a very cute area. The kids pedi chairs are adorable and they have little DVD players at each one. The only reason I took off a star is because it was really warm and stuffy because they did not have the air on. It was nice out but the door wasn’t even open… part of the pedi experience is to be comfortable and being hot and stuffy isn’t so fun. If they turned on the AC or opened the door at least, it would make for a five star review.

There are many many negative reviews not featured on Unilocal main page. I hope this one makes it on the main page. The people working here are very rude. They aren’t friendly to costumers. I’ve tried it 3 times and I never saw any of them even crack a smile in 3 visits. I won’t be back after today. It was the final straw when they fought over who had to take me because I was the only costumer in there and none of them wanted to get up.

Alright I’m a guy, and comfortable enough with my manhood to get a manicure so there. I had a meeting down the road and had about 30 minutes to spare so in we go for a quick manicure. I’ve only done this one other time in my life so let’s face it, I’m not going to be a regular but on the surface it was a great experience. My nails are generally bitten so this lady had her work cut out for her… but she handled it like a pro. Nice clipping, filing, soaking and hand massaging. All in all, nice! The lady was pleasant and worked efficiently to get me out of there in the alotted time. I will say this, my nails have never been so shiny. I think it was like $ 15.00 and for a bit of «me» time it was worth it.

I’ve been getting my nails and my daughter’s nails done all summer biweekly. I do think their prices are really high, it’s just been convenient for me. The quality of the work is just okay. I find that they don’t normally get very close to the nail bed when I get gel on my nails which can be frustrating. Last week I went to the salon by myself and gave the girl her tip in cash. Which they push for so they don’t have to report their tips to the government. I told her I’d be back later in the day after I picked my daughter up from daycare. She got her finger nails done and they told me it would be $ 7.00. She asked for cash, which I told her I only had $ 5 in cash and handed her my debit card. She began to converse with someone else and told me she’d have to charge me $ 10 to use my card. I agreed thinking she was going to take the $ 3 as her tip. When she gave me my receipt to sign she said«now I take $ 5 for tip». I told her the $ 3 that they charged me was her tip. She ended up telling me not to worry about tipping her. I own my own business and this is completely ridiculous. You can’t charge a $ 3 up charge for using a debit card. The fees associated with using my card wouldn’t have been more than .50. Needless to say, I’ll be reporting them to VISA and will not ever go back again. No matter how convenient it is located.

This has to be the worst salon experience I’ve EVER had and I’ve been to nail salons ALL over the U. S. and the world! This was by far the worst manicure I’ve ever had! The technicians(and calling them technicians is giving far too much credit) at Baxter’s simply do NOT know what they’re doing! They simply are not trained for the services they are providing and take absolutely no pride in their work!!! They do not care how their clientele leave their establishment! I left with all my nails a different length and shape and they were so thick, I didn’t look human! My polish was smeared and gritty not to mention glue and other gunk under and around my nails! If you want to over pay for a nightmare — Baxter Nails & Spa is the place for you! Also, the attitudes at this salon borders on cruel and sadistic! Go ANYWHERE else… you can’t get a worse job or treatment anywhere else!

I really want to love this place. I really do, because it is in my neighborhood, they are open on Sundays, and later in the evenings than many of the places I’ve tried nearby. However, I’ve been three times, and my toes have chipped within the first two days of each pedicure. Everyone who works there is extremely pleasant, and the experience itself is nice, but I can’t justify the higher price when I can go to a competitor down the street for less money and get a polish job that lasts for weeks without a chip. Also, I am not completely sure, but it appears that they have disposable liners in each foot bath that they replace after each customer. I was one of the last customers there on a Wednesday night, and it looked like maybe the employees were taking the liners out of the baths and rinsing them off, and then replacing the same liners back into the foot baths. So, the liners are possibly being reused and are actually protecting the baths, not the feet of the customers.

this is officially my new nail spot. I loved it! They have kid pedi bowls that are too cute, i cannot wait till my daughter is old enough so we can go have mother/daughter spa day. They offer you wine, but they also have water and soda. They have a million colors to choose from and i love the fact that they have curtains to make your experience more private if you want. The customer service was great and they don’t rush! I will be a regular here:)

Cool, im the first to review! Awesome place. Had a great conversation with the guy that did my pedicure. They’ve only been in the Baxter Village Town Center for about six months. The spa chairs have privacy curtains if you so choose and I was offered something to drink when I sat down. They actually will offer you a glass of wine! I didn’t have any so I don’t know if it costs extra but I still thought it’s a nice touch. This is the first place I’ve ever seen that uses disposable liners in the pedi tubs and they also wear gloves so I imagine they are good with all other hygiene practices. I’m from out of town but as far as cost, they are only a few dollars more than Walmart and other places I called. Im always concerned with hygiene peactice, so between theirs and their hospitality I think the price is worth it. I’ll definitely go again before I go home!
