Peavine Lane Pet Spa opened in January of 2006 by Certified Master Groomer, Tedra Edwards. Tedra is a 3^rd Generation Pet Professional and has worked in many aspects of animal care, including Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Operator, Rescue, Training, Breeding & Showing. PLPSis a Full Service Pet Styling Spa & Resort. We are not «just» Groomers we are Award Winning & Master Pet Stylists, who have dedicated a lifetime to Quality and Professional Pet Care. We offer a variety of Spa Treatments individually designed for your pets specific needs. We can also add Creative Styling & Embellishments to help make your pet the jewel of the neighborhood. We also specialize in (ALL) AKC Breed Standard Clips, aromatherapy, senior pets, «difficult» & aggressive temperaments. We also offer Boarding & Daycare. Our Boarders are let out for Play & Potty Time, in 1 of 3 play yards, every 4 hours. We offer a variety of kennel sizes all the way up to a 5′ x 5′ area for large and multiple pet families.

History

Established in 2006.

The owner, Tedra Edwards, Certified Master Groomer is a 3^rd Generation Pet Professional and has worked in many aspects of animal care, including Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Operator, Rescue, Training, Breeding & Showing. In 1997, Tedra came back to the Tri State Area to be with her ailing mother, Pam Olson. Pam’s parents Don & Edythe Daniels, raised and showed a variety of dog breeds for over 40 years. Shortly after her mothers passing, in 1998, Tedra found a job as a Veterinary Assistant, at Parkview Veterinary Clinic in Fort Madison, Iowa. This is where she became interested in Pet Grooming. Tedra decided to go to seminars across the Midwest to learn the Profession and chose to become certified through the National Dog Groomers Association of America. In the meantime she got married and had 3 children. After the birth of her twins in 2005, she and her family decided it was time to open an «at home business». Peavine Lane Pet was hence born and has grown beyond expectations.
