History

Established in 1979.

Started by Sidney Bleich in 1979. Purchased by Don Parrish, a 30 year IBM executive, and Bonnie Parrish his wife in 1991. Andrew Cagnetta bought the company in 1997. In 2010 Transworld partnered with United Franchise Group to launch their now worldwide franchise.

Transworld was and still is a family trying to help «good people do good deals» (Our unofficial motto! We are an active part of our community and will always work to do «What Is Right».)

Andy came down to Florida in 1995. While looking to buy a business, he encountered a company named Transworld Business Brokers. He continued his search for a business, but was offered a position at Transworld as an agent. He joined the company and quickly became one of South Florida’s top performers.

Not quenching his entrepreneurial spirit, he offered and was able to buy Transworld from the owners at the time. His continued relationship with the former owners lasted over 10 years. He took the solid 18 year old company of 7 people and 35 businesses for sale and grew it over the next twenty years and partnered with United Franchise Group to be a nationwide franchisor. He is a community philanthropist and leader. Has been running Andy’s Family Pasta Dinner for 12 years and has raised over half a million dollars for Lifenet4Families.
