Super cool and nice couple are behind the counter there every time I stop in. The sandwiches are crazy amazing. Every time i eat one I think about the Johnny Depp«Restoring the Balance» scene from«Once Upon A Time In Mexico» —–
—– They are way too good, especially their house sandwich«Tiny Little Tea Leaf.» Then there is the Rutinha Cappuccino coffee mentioned below which is at least 10 x better than anything at Starbucks. I would give this place 10 stars if I could… P. S. Leave the balance alone. It’s perfect the way it is…

Best sandwiches in town! I visit for my lunch a few times a week, and it gets better each time!

Yum! Fresh sandwiches. Other reviews said the food is made with love, and I couldn’t agree more. I tried a basic Turkey Provolone on ciabatta and it was delish. Pleasant and friendly couple, and maybe their daughter, are the owners.

Decided to get a sandwich here based on the Unilocal reviews, and they were right — a very tasty sandwich! And the couple that runs this store are the sweetest people ever. So kind and happy to help. It’s wonderful to get customer service like this. That’s what’s earning them the five star review. I got an Italian sub and I swear it was made with love. You could see the care used when putting everything together. Amazing. They use Boar’s Head meats, and offer all the standard fixings you could want. Cost about $ 7 and kicks Subway’s ass. The store itself is a bit on the small side, but you can find most basic necessities. $ 10 credit card minimum. Store is located on the ground floor of the Pine Crest Apartments on 16th. No real obvious sinage outside.

The owners are great people who offer the best customer service. And the sandwiches are the best hands down ! Way better than subway. My favorite is their signature sandwich the tiny little tea leaf. This is a must try! Love it

Cutest convenience/one stop shop in ft. Lauderdale… Owned and run by the nicest couple. They have great sandwiches… My favorite being the Russian Bear. All made with boars head meats. They don’t skimp on portion either. Huge sandwiches. I’ve heard about the homemade soups but haven’t had one yet. And Ruth makes a killer Rutinha Cappuccino. Ask for it by name.

This is the BEST sub/sandwich shop in the country! The owners put so much effort and care into their sandwiches that they never disappoint. The prices are great, especially when you see the amount of meat they put on the sandwiches – they really pile it on! I just started getting the homemade soups, which are amazing. If you are lucky enough to go there on a day when they have the tomato soup then don’t pass it up! The Tiny Little Tea Leaf is definitely a hidden gem in Ft. Lauderdale.

This convenience store is attached to the apartment complex, Pinecrest Village. It’s owned by the cutest(European?) couple! They’re closed every Sunday so they can have a date night… soo adorable/romantic! Anyway, they have a Boars Head deli so its great for picking up a delicious sandwich, beer, wine, freshly made soup, or other random items you may have forgotten at Publix like coffee filters, etc.
