Salads are always made with fresh vegetables

(lettuce, romaine or even tomatoes, daily picked)

Our «best salad «is the Greek Salad, with authentic ingredients of Greece in every bite.

Wings are twice prepared. We marinate them with special spices over 2 days. Then, we bake for a short time and into the fyer they go. Perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. We also have more then 10 different kind of sauces. The combos include a side salad or French fries, and a drink.

Subs: we have our traditional Gyro (sliced in Greek style) served with the best Tzatziki sauce, fresh tomatoes, light red onions and romaine lettuce. Also our Chicken Parm offers the juiciest chicken breast with homemade Marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.

Pasta …it’s amazing. What a taste! Try our Pesto Pasta (homemade pesto sauce). We have also Carbonara sauce, Alfredo or Marinara. Lasagna, Pasta Marinara, Meat balls and Chicken Breast also are great.

It’s the best of FTL downtown .

History

Established in 2009.

Back in the summer of 2009 Slice Pizzeria opened its doors in downtown Fort Lauderdale with tremendous approval from the business community whom we serve proudly for lunch daily. The ambience, super friendly service and freshly prepared offferings made Slice Pizzeria the place to be seen for the Fort Lauderdale lunch crowd.

Since then, Slice Pizzeria evolved into Slice Cucina under the ownership of Nicolas Gatos. Daily lunch specials for all tastes, budgets and dietary needs. In the evening Fort Lauderdale residents order their pizza, wings, gyros and philly cheesesteaks from Slice.

This includes Free Delivery, of course.

I was brought here by a co-​worker and so glad I decided to unchain myself from my desk and experience the freedom that a lunch out of office, however brief, can provide. This place is only a block over in sunny downtown Fort Lauderdale and it’s a little slice of heaven is what it is!
Run my a lovely Italian family banting back in forth in their native tongue you might feel as if you walked into a small neopolitan bakery in the heart of Naples. Pizzas, as indicated in the name, are available by the slice (I believe the lunch special is 2 slices and a soda), and since they are right downtown near several office buildings, the turnover is quick — which in turn means fresh slices, not those insipid soggy limp sad pizzas you see languishing often in the windows of other establishments. Their style seems to be classic wood oven with thin crust. I also indulged in their gyro which was very fresh. Specials change daily, which again ensure freshness and service certainly comes with a smile.

This pizza was some of the worst pizza I’ve had in a while. It had such a weird taste like the crust was stale. For the price, I expected more. The owners were really nice. Too bad the food wasn’t. Try Empire pizza up the street.

Really delicious pizza… my favorite so far is the ranch but the cheese and margarita are also great. Also their customer service is great. They are a really sweet family and always give the warmest greetings and remember names. They work really hard to please and it is a joy to eat it there or take it to go.

I work literally a block away. I have been here a handful of times. Pizza is cheap so that’s a plus. Not bad but nothing to amazing either. I have heard there is a new owner so I will have to check it out again and update my review.

1st time, excellent, walked in was a little overwhelmed by the menu when a kind gentle came and helped me through he was fantastic help, I decided on the tuna sub with a side salad and soda for 6.99 not bad at all !! And my husband ordered a slice of cheese pizza and one philly cheese steak and he also got a soda for 5.99 the slices were humongous! !!! The food came quick and hot. Staff was super friendly, I live in boca but I will def be back, great 1st experience

This place was pretty average in my mind. Not bad, but not great either. Pretty standard thin crust slices. I would have preferred my sauce a bit tangier. Good floppy to crustiness ratio on the crust here. Pretty good prices as well. It’s decent pizza, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to try it.

$ 6.99 for two slices of pizza and a soda. Not bad in Downtown FT Lauderdale. The $ 2 up charm for a skimpy amount of spinach was not worth it.
Next time I will try the two slices of cheese + soda for $ 4.99

Sadly, the previous owners sold, and the new owners haven’t been able to maintain the quality. Crust is thinner, toppings are meager. I gave it two tries after the Brazilians bought it, but it’s not the same.

This place is AWESOME! I stopped in for lunch, and pondered over the menu for a moment until deciding to just go with some pizza, as I was in a pizza place. At first I wanted one slice, but when I noticed their special for two slices and a soda for barely $ 5, I was sold. The pizza was served quickly right to my table by one of the very nice workers there (maybe an owner or manager?), and he stopped by again after I finished eating to ask me how it was. In one word: fantastic. The slices were much bigger than I was expecting, and had the perfect balance of sauce vs. cheese. I’ll definitely be coming back here when I’m in the area and in the mood for some great pizza.

This pizza is awesome. It might be my favorite pizza in fort lauderdale. I come for lunch because I can walk from my office and while they say they deliver, I for some reason don’t really believe that will happen in a timely manner at all. But sometimes you have to get off your ass for goof pizza and I will and I do. I love slice. $ 6 for two huge slices and a drink. You can’t beat it.

Awesome drunk food!
The dough it light and airy. It’s terrific! I’d eat it even if I wasn’t wasted.
The place itself is kind of «eh.» It’s usually very crowded with other fellow drunkies and generally speaking, it’s quite difficult to grab a table.
I wish I lived in the area so I could get delivery… Regardless, this place is definitely great after a long night of partying.

The pizza at Slice is as good as it gets! They have a variety of specialty pies which are fun, creative, but most importantly delicious! What is in that sauce?! The world may never know! You could put their red sauce on pretty much anything and it would be fantastic. The fresh garlic knots are perfect. As other Unilocalers have pointed out, besides the food being fantastic, the owners and staff are always warm and welcoming. Visit Slice, you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered delivery from here last night based on Unilocal reviews and was pretty pleased. They told me it would be 30 minutes, but that sounded kind of fast for pizza delivery, so I was not suprised that it arrived in about 45 minutes. I’m assuming it might be 5 or 10 minutes faster next time, since it was my first delivery order from there. We got the advertised special of a large one topping pizza and 10 wings for $ 13.99, which is a pretty good deal. Delivery is also free, which is kind of a rarity these days. We got pepperoni for our topping.
As for the pizza, it was tasty: the sauce was really good, toppings were juicy and it was not over or undercooked — just right. Another thing I liked was that it was sliced very well. My girlfriend’s daughter said: they must call it Slice Pizzeria because they slice the pizza really good”, which made me laugh, but I have ordered pizza from other establishments where they barely cut the pizza and the pieces are all stuck together and rip off uneven, so it makes a difference. The only thing I didn’t like about the pizza was it was pretty greasy, but it’s pizza, so that is to be kind of expected. Overall we all thought it was really good.
The wings were also pretty good; medium sauce just like I asked for, and it was not too hot or mild — perfect for medium and the chicken was good quality. It came with bleu cheese and celery at no extra charge, which was also nice. I will definitely be ordering from Slice again!

Daily special is $ 4.95 for 2 slices of cheese and a soda. Fat slices are a mere $ 3.75 (now dont go raising that because i used the word mere…)

Located in the City Mall next to the municipal parking lot between the Library and Museum of Art, this is a great informal place to get a coke (actually they serve Pepsi) and a slice if you happen to be visiting either location. Definitely one of the better pizza places in the area, the thin and crisp pizza is terrific. They also served various stuffed pizzas and other specialties. I tried a stuffed spinach and ricotta pizza that was very tasty.
Service was beyond friendly. To top it off, as I was leaving, the owner gave a slice of pizza to a homeless man who came in begging for food, without hesitation! It is not often that you get to witness a good deed in person. Good food, good service, good people… do these guys a favor and try their place.
