Attorney Michael Shane has exclusively practiced immigration law since 1978. Michael Shane’s son, Attorney Evan Shane, joined Michael Shane in 2005 and now they comprise the law firm Shane & Shane, P.A. Michael Shane is an inaugural member of the Immigration and Nationality Law Certification committee that was founded in 1995. As an inaugural member, Michael Shane was among the first Immigration attorneys in the state of Florida to become a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Immigration. Evan Shane became a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in 2012. The prestigious distinction of being a certified specialist in Immigration places Michael Shane and Evan Shane in an elite category among their fellow Immigration attorneys.

Business Owner

Attorney Evan Shane is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law. He is a partner at Shane & Shane, P.A. and practices exclusively in the area of Immigration and Nationality law. Mr. Shane routinely represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), the United States Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review (USDOJ EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), and United States embassies located all over the world. Mr. Shane presently serves as the Second Vice President of the South Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He also serves on the local USCIS liaison committee. Mr. Shane served on the Chapter’s Board of Directors for two years, served as the Chapter’s Secretary, had been the Chapter’s chairman of the Unlicensed Practice of Law (UPL) committee and the co-​chairman of its New Member Division.
