With over 25 years of boating experience and a passion for the water and people, founders Mark and Nancy Husk started My Yacht Experience as a family business in November of 2014.

Has lived in the Fort Lauderdale area for almost 4 years after relocating from the Chicago area.

Married for 30 years to Nancy with 3 grown children.

Started My Yacht Experience after spending 30 years in corporate America in the Information Technology field.

USCG Licensed Captain with over 25 years of boating in the Great Lakes and South Florida.

Loves boating and the boating lifestyle, meeting new people, and sharing experiences with others.

We were informed of this yacht by some friends that had cruised with captain Mark. Awesome experience from beginning to end! We had decided to call at the last minute for a day outing when family came in to town unexpectedly. Mark and Nancy were extremely helpful and accommodating with such short notice. Their boat is well maintained and spotless. There was not a moment that went by that they weren’t making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our cruise. We couldn’t be any happier with our experience and wouldn’t hesitate to charter with them again! Thanks again Mark and Nancy!

Captain Mark made my wife and I feel like movie stars! This is a once in a lifetime experience cruising the famous ICW near Ft. Lauderdale. We did a 4 hour Valentine’s Day cruise and had lunch at Shooters. My wife will never forget this Valentine’s Day. Why would anyone every purchase a boat when you can have Captain Mark take you out on his very impressive 44″ foot SeaRay «Don’t Blink? This is a «must do» when on the Gold Coast.

The most unique and fabulous birthday gift I ever got!!! The captain took us up and down the canals of Fort Lauderdale, stopping at restaurants and bars, as if we owned the yacht! Family and friends split the cost, so it really wasn’t expensive. I’d recommend this for anyone who loves water!!!
